men (62)

In the journey of life, there are moments that test our strength and shake our foundations. It is in these times that we can turn to our faith for guidance and support. As men, we often feel the pressure to be strong and unyielding, but it's important to remember that true strength comes from within, and often, from a higher power.

Consider the story of David, a young shepherd who faced the giant Goliath not with overwhelming force, but with unwavering faith and a single stone. His victory was n

  1. Be a Man of Integrity: Joseph was a righteous man who lived in accordance with God's commands. He exemplified integrity and faithfulness, teaching us the importance of aligning our actions with our values.
  2. Embrace Your Role as a Father: Joseph played a pivotal role in Jesus' life, providing guidance, protection, and support. His example reminds men of the crucial

Hello, brothers in Christ! Today I want to share with you a Christian devotion for men that is inspired by one of my favorite movies, "300". You may be wondering, what does a violent and bloody movie about ancient Spartans have to do with our faith? Well, let me tell you, there are some powerful lessons we can learn from this film and apply to our lives as followers of Jesus.

First of all, the movie "300" is about courage. The Spartans faced overwhelming odds against the Persian army, but they

What does it mean to be a great man? How can we live up to the standards that God has set for us in His Word? In this devotion, we will look at three things that great men do, based on James 5.

  1. Great men are patient and persevering (James 5:7-11). James uses the examples of farmers, prophets, and Job to show us how to endure hardship and suffering with patience and faith. He reminds us that the Lord is coming soon and that He is compassionate and merciful. Great men do not give up or complai

Hello, brothers in Christ! Welcome to another day of our Christian men's daily devotional. Today, we are going to talk about how to be a godly leader in your family, workplace, and community.

Being a leader is not easy, especially in a world that is full of challenges, temptations, and opposition. But God has called us to be leaders who follow His example and His commands. He has given us the responsibility and the privilege to influence others for His glory and their good.

So how can we be godl

What makes you a leader?
Is it your gift to teach, your gift to preach or the charismatic way that you present yourself?
Maybe it's your flashy business card, your awesome website or the fact that your videos have been seen on the internet so many times.
Is this what makes a true leader?
No, what makes a true leader is the heart to serve. Not serve oneself, but serve others.
I find that in my daily Christian walk, I've encountered more titles than leaders, this is a very sad

Jesus himself affirmed his disciples when they expressed a desire to be first. He told them exactly how to do it. Shouldn't we conclude that even Jesus understood that some people simply get more excited when they have the ability to compete against other people? If we can introduce that dynamic back into faith somehow, won't we reach a lot of men who feel that Christianity is a good story but is lacking something?

Hey men, I'm here to talk to you today and just challenge you a little bit from the Word of God. The Bible tells us in Micah  6:8

It says...

He has told you, mortal one, what is good;

And what does the Lord require of you

But to do justice, to love [a]kindness,

And to walk [b]humbly with your God?

Now I want to look at this first part where it says to do justly. What does that mean and as a man, what Does that mean to for us? To me to do justly means to do what is right to do what's right in

Daily Devotions for Men - Attitude

I want to begin with Psalms 32:2

New American Standard Bible

How blessed is a person whose guilt the Lord does not take into account,And in whose spirit there is no deceit!

The word “spirit here is the Hebrew word “ruach”, which means spirit, breath demon, spirit, spirit of God. It also means mental disposition, and in here we can accurately translate an attitude. Mental disposition is attitude. The word attitude is not found in the Bible, but we understand this concept. Let me read it to yo

Every man has been called by God to biblical manhood, not merely to male-ness. There can be a difference between being a male and being a man Being a man has to do with owning your responsibility under God and having God as your authority. When you forsake that definition ``under God,'', then you have compromised the true definition of manhood and you've actually settled for being a male. It is absolutely critical that you understand like in a good football game. You'Ve been drafted, You've been

"According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise Master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it.
But let one take heed how he builds on it." I Corinthians 3:10. New King y(NKJV).

The above quoted verse are the words of Apostle Paul to saints of the Lord in Corinth as well as every Saint of Christ today everywhere. These words have to do with ministry, ministration and ministers. As a result of this, let us apply its relevance to building a

We all expect ourselves to be spiritually perfect. To act right, stand in faith and not fall... but we hit the ground, hard. We're not alone in that. David stumbled over grief in a manner which seems to contradict his incredible faith and strength. By doing so he became an excellent emotional role model for both men and women.

Jesse did not think he was much of a speaker. He stuttered a lot since he was a child, especially when he was nervous. This was something he was conscious of and felt embarrassed about. But he could not say opportunity. Two weeks ago he was invited to share something positive with inmates  at the prison where he served a twelve year sentence.

Jesse whispered a silent prayer asking God for his help as he alighted his vehicle.  He became very emotional as he entered the pri

I want to let you know you are doing a great job fathers of this great nation and worldwide, but there is more to be accomplished with our time here. We must beat the drum for Championship Fathering! As you know God has called us fathers to do more than stand on the sidelines and watch our families fall apart and fail. It truly is time for all us fathers to plant our feet in the ground and make a stand to guide the physical, mental, and spiritual destiny of our families. So

Dad was a "man's man:" A passionate fisherman; skilled woodworker; avid gun collector; grease monkey. In the summers, he and his buddies would drive to Canada and spend days fishing for bass and trout. He could build and repair cabinetry like a professional. His collection of World War II-era guns was something he prized. He rebuilt a Corvair engine in our basement. When I think of what a prototypical American dad is supposed to be, I think of my Dad.

There is not a marriage counselor, self-help book, or marriage retreat that can save a marriage as much as the Bible. God’s Word is equipped to provide help for whatever circumstances we face while married.

Here are ten verses that can help to save and heal your struggling marriage. They are verses to remind us what love is and what God has created in your union with your spouse.

1. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
