Hey men, I'm here to talk to you today and just challenge you a little bit from the Word of God. The Bible tells us in Micah 6:8
It says...
He has told you, mortal one, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justice, to love [a]kindness,
And to walk [b]humbly with your God?
Now I want to look at this first part where it says to do justly. What does that mean and as a man, what Does that mean to for us? To me to do justly means to do what is right to do what's right in the eyes of God and what's right and according to the standards of the Word of God. See as men, whether you like it or not, we're Called to lead by examples we're supposed to be leaders, we're supposed to be the ones leading the way paving the way, and we have to do that by example. And our example is not only our words but our actions and this verse tells us we need to do what is right and that's not just when people are watching.
We don't just need to make the right decision and do what's right when people are looking. We need to do that when we're on our own, because the decisions we make when no one else is around looking truly define who we are as people as men. See in private or in public. We need to do what's right, but the other trick to this is: we have to do what's right, even if we feel that it's not beneficial for us. See, the Bible doesn't say, do what's right unless it's more convenient to do this, or unless it's more convenient To do that, the Bible tells us to just simply do justly. So when we do things when our decisions and our actions and how we act as men as leaders, whatever position you find yourself in, we need to make sure that we are doing what is right. According to the Word of God and right according to the standards that God would hold us to make those decisions to do what's right, even if it doesn't seem beneficial for yourself, because in the end it will be beneficial because you can stand confident.
Knowing that you did the right godly thing and God will always honor that so my challenge today, my encouragement today is do what's right, private-public, even if it's painful to yourself watch God move on your behalf.
