A motivational Daily Christian Devotion For men of color

Brothers, I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Today, I want to share with you a word of encouragement and inspiration. You are not alone in your struggles, your challenges, or your victories. You are part of a family of faith that loves you, supports you, and prays for you.  And as a man of color, you are also part of a community  that celebrates your identity, your culture, and your heritage.

God has a purpose an

An interesting quote by Avijeet says,

Never stop when you are tired. Stop when you are done, winners are not those who always win, they are the ones who always fight.

You must realize that the devil is not fighting you because you are weak. He is fighting you because you are strong. The devil is clever and knows better than to waste his efforts on nothing. So when the devil throws darts at you, it is because you have something on your inside that he needs. You have something on your inside that

God is a god of preparation. He prepares for everything, because preparation is very important. Everything a person does in life without adequate preparation has a high likelihood of not being a success. It is in this way, god prepares you. He prepares you to do great work for the kingdom of heaven.

He prepares you, so you can be the best version of yourself and it does not matter how long it will take you. As long as God is the one preparing you, then you have nothing to worry about, because

A lot of times, people wonder why they go through certain things and why it seems the others simply have it very easy. They blame God, not realizing what God is trying to do for them. So in today's devotional we will be talking on the topic that says: sometimes God breaks you to save a soul. I pray that the eyes of your understanding become enlightened as you open your ears to listen to what he has to say to you in this post. A lot of people won't believe this, but here's the truth, some of the

At the beginning of time, the scriptures make us understand that God made man in His image and after His likeness. This statement a lot of times has been misconceived. Many have said God is flesh like the man He created since his creation is made in flesh and after His likeness. This misconception and many other misconceptions are why many people have not learned to live their lives after the order of God; after His directions and in the manner that He has predetermined for each man to live. Leave everything in God’s hands and eventually, you’ll see God’s hand in everything. I have seen this truth work itself out over the years I have been in existence. Indeed, God fights for his children and he does it in the most amazing and surprising way ever. Sometimes, he would create a wall around you that nothing and nobody would be able to pierce through, and at other times, he would fight the battles through you, and at some other times, he would ask you to wait and watch while he does the

Life As A Proverbs 31 Woman

by Kathie Thomas

Throughout 2006 I decided to do a study on Proverbs 31 via a blog. It was partly an exercise to practice using the software and I'd always wanted to explore this book in greater details so combining the two seemed an ideal way to do it. I had no idea that the blog would end up being a very popular one which still draws in thousands of visitors every month a year after I began writing it.

During the course of doing this study it became clear to me

The Book Of Proverbs: God's wisdom For Righteous Living

Proverbs 29:16

When the wicked thrive, so does sin, but the righteous will see their downfall.

We need to understand that there is a season for everything. We have good times, and we have bad times, but in every season, we must praise The Lord and thank him for His Grace and Mercy.

When there are times of trouble, our praise should be lifted up to the one who can save us and give us peace in our hearts, becau

  • Yeshua is our example of love. Being the sinless Son of God, he loved both God and people perfectly in His time on earth.

  • Yeshua met a woman drawing water at a well and met her with love. We can learn much about how Jesus loved people from this profound interaction found in John Chapter 4.

  • From the command to love God flows the command to love others. We cannot love Yahweh without also loving His people. The two commands are not to be separated.

  • All people are created in God’s image and therefore worthy of His love and ours. We don’t love because people deserve it or have earned it, but because we have the lo

  • The word love is found all throughout the Bible and represents a foundational truth of the Christian faith. Yahweh is a God of love, and as people created in His image, we are to be people characterized by love.

  • While the English language has only one word for love, the original Hebrew and Greek of the Bible utilized several

Our topic is God has a big blessing planned for you this year.
It is a new year and people are always expectant, they expect from God, they expect protection, favor, blessings and much more. They expect from people, their jobs and other areas of their lives, commitment, dedication, and loyalty. Compared to Gods’ blessings, the world standard of blessing is a cheap bogus you will always be disappointed if you expect from man rather than God. Gods’ blessings for you is true and long-lasting, unl

Well, it's new year's eve, and we're wrapping up another year of daily devotionals.

we're so thankful the lord has allowed us to help shape his kingdom by making these daily devotionals.

He could do this all by himself, but instead, our father in heaven wants us (including you) to be about his work. He wants us there with him brick by brick. That's the God we serve, an ever-present one, one who wants to be fully engaged with us as we fully engage with him. So I bet you're thinking the verse t

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

"We know that all things work together for good, for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose?" Romans 8:28 NRSV

Humility is not a common character trait today.  In fact, the very opposite seems to be encouraged.  We are urged to build our self-esteem and help others build self-esteem.  All people have worth or self-esteem simply because God loves us a

Not everyone will be happy with your blessings and promotion. Learn to keep your mouth shut.
The adverse danger of talking too much is that you do not know who is happy or unhappy with the news you are sharing. A bitter truth is, not everyone is happy with your blessing, not everyone is happy with your progress. While some people are just jealous, envious and toxic wanting no good for their neighbors, some other persons just have not mastered how to deal with other people’s success without the

Daily Devotional: Purposeful Prayer

By PamFord Davis

Before calling men to follow in His steps, Jesus prayed with passion. It started by calling out to God with purposeful prayer.

Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles: Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew; Matthew and Thomas; Ja
