Scripture: 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Introduction:

Leadership is a calling that extends beyond titles and positions. As Christian men, we are called to lead in our families, workplaces, and communities. In today's devotion, we will explore what it means to be a godly leader and how we can embody Christ-like leadership in our various roles.

Discussion:

1. Leading with Love and Humility:

  • Reflect on the example of Jesus, who demonstrated servant leadership by washing His disciples' feet.
  • How ca

The Bible tells us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of heaven, who has power and authority over all things. He is able to deliver us from any enemy, any problem, any situation that we face.

You may be wondering, what does a violent and bloody movie about ancient Spartans have to do with our faith? Strength in weakness…..what a remarkable concept. Our God is Amazing and Divine assistance is without measure or comparison. Only God can make such a marvelous guarantee, that even in our weaknesses, because of our reliance on Him; we are strong!

Rather than relentless insistence that we strive for perfection of our own accord, which would define independence, God wants that we depend completely on Him. And this countenance will

I want to begin with Psalm 32:2. It said…

How blessed is a person whose guilt the Lord does not take into account,

And in whose spirit there is no deceit!

The word spirit here is the Hebrew word ruach, which means spirit, breath demon, spirit, spirit of God.

It also means mental disposition, and here we can accurately translate an attitude. Mental disposition is attitude. The word attitude is not found in the Bible, but we understand this concept. Let me read it to you that way. Blessed is t

Daily Devotional: We Pray

by PamFord Davis

We pray.

Jesus said ‘when’ not if you pray.

“But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly (Matthew 6:6 NKJV).”

We gain entry into the Lord’s throne room; we pray.

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16 NKJV).”

When burdened for others or self,

Hey men, I'm here to talk to you today and just challenge you a little bit from the Word of God. The Bible tells us in Micah  6:8

It says...

He has told you, mortal one, what is good;

And what does the Lord require of you

But to do justice, to love [a]kindness,

And to walk [b]humbly with your God?

Now I want to look at this first part where it says to do justly. What does that mean and as a man, what Does that mean to for us? To me to do justly means to do what is right to do what's right in

I just want to share just a little bit of Scripture with you, Psalms, 139: 23 and 24

Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.

Listen, none of us want to think about the things that are wrong in our life are the things that are bad about us. We just rather think about the good stuff. We'd rather ask God to bless us, but sometimes when God wants to bless you after the blessing, he must break

...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.   -Psalm 30:5

We all cry sometimes (if we are honest) We all have moments in our lives that seem dark and stormy, but like the faithful sunrise, morning comes and the Joy of The Lord strengthens and picks us up, sometimes to the point that we even forget what we were weeping about. God is always faithful and His Joy is our strength. When the storms come, don't fret just hold on and look to the horizon cause joy is coming in

In this age modern technology, more and more gadgets are being created to occupy our time. Need to waste time...there's an app for that.

Seriously, we are constantly being bombarded by attacks from WMD's Weapons of Mass Distraction. Now more than ever it is of most importance to have some time set aside where you turn off all the noise and listen to what God has to say.

Today's Challenge: Spend some quiet time with the Father. Tune everything else out, and listen for that soft still voice of

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.  Colossians 3:17

 Whatever you do...in both your words and your actions do them in the Name of Christ and do it in such a way that brings both Glory and Honor to God!  Forget your empty rituals and traditions...let go of your relics and outward religious displays.

Today's Challenge:  Pretend that you can't use words to share the Gospel...how would you spell

Work hard at whatever you do. You will soon go to the world of the dead, where no one works or thinks or reasons or knows anything. Ecc 9:10

I kinda like the King James version of that verse best, it reads whatever thy hands find to do, do it it with all thy might! Sounds like a Noble declaration doesn't it? Well it is. In modern day language it would read "Get ya hustle on and stay on the grind cause it will be over before ya know it and then it will be too late!

This phase of our lives he
