We pay little attention to stage production spotlights. We would be more likely to note their absence; yet, the spotlight focuses our attention on the leading character. Directors, in particular, want stagehands to flood the stage as curtains open for final bows. "Bravo!" I visualize God the Father directing the scene as John the Baptist baptized Jesus.
"As soon as Jesus came up out of the water, he saw heaven opening and the Spirit coming down on him like a dove. And a voic
"He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted."Isaiah 53:3-4
Many people of Jesus' time despised Jesus. He represented all they were not; all they couldn't be, holy, righteous, kind, and full of love and forgiveness. He was (and is) God. Jesus i
Introduction: This passage deals with the Christian, his battle, his struggles and weapons.
1.Paul was accused of living by the worlds standards and not Yahweh's (v.1-2).2. Christians are at war but we cant fight in a fleshly way (v.3-5).
1. (10:1-2) People were saying Paul was walking after the flesh. That means he wasn't living by Yah’s Word, but by the worlds. He was doing his own thing. They were sa
It seems like before every book signing I deal with a spiritual battle, it seems as if the forces of evil would love nothing better than to swallow me whole and spit me back to the pits. You know it would be easy for me to simply say, "I'm tired of the enemy disrupting my life." But truth be told I am just as accountable for the snares and traps the enemy has put before me.

Life always seems to present a struggle, you have the heroes and you have the villains. You have the doubters and you have the believers. Faith left untested is not faith at all, because faith is the substance of things hope for, not what you already have, and the essence of things that have yet to be seen. There have been many times that the Lord has placed my faith under pressure; I'm speaking of extreme pressure. You know the kind that feels like you are stuck between two heavy ton weights, a
There is approximately 488 verses in the bible on faith. There is also approximately 438 verses in the bible on fear. So with their being 50 more verses in the bible on faith versus fear, we already know that the Devil is defeated. So, let's examine this a little closer. As I have always stated and as it is written in the book of Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Honestly, if it wasn't for God's grace and enduring mercies, I surely will not be here today. You know there is nothing worst than the feeling of being out of the favor of God, every time I sin I get that gut wrenching condemnation pinching feeling. Faithing it till you make it is actually not an earthly goal one should make for themselves, but the exact opposite. This should be a heavenly goal. A goal that sees no boundaries, hears no defeat.

If I had a top ten list of biblical acts of faith, I believe that the shear act of faith that Mary displayed when told that she was to carry Jesus had to make at least one or two on my list. Just think about it, here you have a young teenage girl on the verge to being wed and being told one day by an Angel that she would be practically carrying in her womb the author of this universe. Just thing about that, that's huge. It took a huge leap of faith to even believe that it were to be possible as

Hi, how are you guys doing? Hope you all are fine. Today I would like to write on a topic that is very challenging at its heart, which is trusting in God in our quietness.
Isaiah 30:15
For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, "In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." But you were unwilling,
Let me first give you a little information on Israel. The Bible says that Israel was the apple of His eye. They were a people chos
Faith has always been the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. But what happens to that hope when the laws around us seem to be a little tainted and many times it seems like justice has no equal playing field. What happens to the little child that runs to his mother and tells his mother that he was being bullied by another? That parent will immediately want justice for her son, and for that particular school to act swiftly and accordingly to the rule book. But what
Everyday faith is the confidence and the ability to know that in spite of it all, God has my back. Everyday faith is as much a walk with God as it is to be an example to your neighbors of what a Christ like life is supposes to look like. Everyday faith takes more work than every day fear. Fear is all around us, but true faith is only represented by the few. It takes some lights being turned off, some bills to become due and some gnashing of the teeth to truly understand how everyday faith works.

The book of Romans 1:17 states For the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel from faith to faith just as it is written, "the righteous by faith will live."
It's time for a faith lift people; we are living in a time in America where individuals are getting face lifts by the thousands. Some are young and many are old, but by the very nature of the business are booming and many people believe within themselves that they are no longer worthy for man's standard of beauty.

PRINCIPLES OF KINGDOM LIVING
LESSON 14
THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND THE CHURCH
BY DR. GEORGE WATKINS
The Kingdom of God and the Church are woven together throughout the Scriptures. The Kingdom of God is God's purpose, while the Church is the instrument to fulfill that purpose and that which is used to extend God's sovereign rule.
(1) WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?
A. It is synonymous with the Kingdom of Heaven:
1. (Matthew 4:17); (Mark 1:14)
2. (Matthew 5:3); (Luke 6:20)
3. (Matthew 10:7); (Luke 9:2)
4. (Matthew 1
Dear Friend, the Bible declares that one day you will die and then stand face to face with God to be judged. Hebrews 9:27 reads, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Nothing in your entire life could be more important than being ready for that day, because it will determine whether you will spend eternity in heaven or in hell.
