One key decision about a meeting can be who will pray. (Unsplash)

Most pastors tell me the most important meeting of the church is the prayer meeting. They also tell me it is the least-attended meeting in their church. I am told that people will come easy to a potluck but not to a prayer meeting. But the power of a well-attended prayer meeting is vital to a

God isn't going to fix this

The Rev. Franklin Graham has slammed The New York Daily News’ front cover declaring that “God isn’t fixing this” in the wake of Wednesday’s mass shooting in California, and argued that prayer is “direct access” to God.

“They have the audacity to criticize politicians who had publicly offered prayers and asked for God’s comfort following the killings, calling them ‘cowards who could truly end gun scourge.’ Shame on them!” Graham posted on his Facebook page Thursday night.

Faith It Till You Make It

Honestly, if it wasn't for God's grace and enduring mercies, I surely will not be here today. You know there is nothing worst than the feeling of being out of the favor of God, every time I sin I get that gut wrenching condemnation pinching feeling. Faithing it till you make it is actually not an earthly goal one should make for themselves, but the exact opposite. This should be a heavenly goal. A goal that sees no boundaries, hears no defeat.

Then, too, another reference to prayer is in Revelation, the final book of the Bible. (8:4) In addition, the 64 books between Genesis and Revelation refer to prayer, or a form of the word prayer, over 500 times.

Therefore, for you as a believer, God's Word point

Arizona Day of Prayer Lawsuit

A U.S. District Court judge on Monday threw out a lawsuit against Gov. Jan Brewer over her commemoration of an Arizona Day of Prayer.

There is a disturbing trend developing in First Amendment jurisprudence; especially in the area of church and state separation.  Notwithstanding the fact that many state sponsored or endorsed religious actions appear to clearly violate the well established parameters of the First Amendment, courts are now routinely dismissing lawsuits for lack of standing.  To be c
