ESPN 300 quarterback Shedeur Sanders flipped his commitment from FAU to Jackson State University, where his dad, Deion Sanders, is the head coach.

Shedeur originally committed to FAU in July and was the highest-ranked commit for the program from the Class of 2021. Once his father was hired by Jackson State in September, it seemed as though it was only a matter of time before Shedeur made the switch.

He made that decision official on Friday and is now the highest-ranked prospect J

Odell Beckham Jr.’s season is officially over.

The Cleveland Browns announced the star wide receiver suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. Beckham underwent an MRI on Monday morning, which confirmed the tear.

He was injured on the Browns’ second snap Sunday while attempting to chase down a Cincinnati Bengals defender following a Baker Mayfield interception.

“Obviously it’s a big loss,” Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday. “He’s a huge part of what we do. So now we’ll just ha

There are not many NFL records Tom Brady hasn’t set, but on Sunday the 43-year-old managed to find another one to break and again etch his name into the history books.

When Brady and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers took to the field in Las Vegas, he trailed Drew Brees by three career touchdowns. The New Orleans Saints’ quarterback threw a pair of touchdowns earlier in the day to stretch his career tally to 558, increasing his lead over Brady’s 555.

But if Brady’s 20-year career has told u

When it came time to deliver, Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book stopped beating himself up and kept the No. 4 Fighting Irish unbeaten.

“I’m definitely hard on myself, but my job at the end of the day is to get the ‘W’,” said Book, whose 13-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter together with Kyren Williams’ 127 rushing yards helped Notre Dame hold off the Cardinals 12-7 Saturday.

Williams ran 25 times and had his third 100-yard game of the season as the Irish (4-0, 3-0 Atl

Brady apparently had to be told that Tampa Bay did indeed turn the ball over on downs

Tom Brady had a chance for a statement win in primetime with his new team on Thursday night, but it was not to be. Even more noteworthy, he appeared to forget what down it was during what would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' final play in the 20-19 loss they suffered to the Chicago Bears. Brady's f

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs started slowly on Monday, which should have been expected. Their opponent was the New England Patriots.

The Chiefs came alive in the second half, as they usually do against the Patriots. Mahomes threw two touchdown passes, and the Chiefs ran their record to 4-0 by winning 26-10.

The Chiefs are the first team in NFL history to start four straight seasons 4-0 or better. They’ve had a winning streak

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey doesn’t have to worry about free agency any time soon after signing a five-year, $98.75 million extension with the team. The deal will kick in at the end of Humphrey’s rookie contract, keeping him with the Ravens through the 2026 season.

The 2017 first-round draft pick gave thanks to God during a press conference announcing the extension, and he said he rededicated his life to Christ at the beginning of hi

The Carolina Panthers will be without running back Christian McCaffrey for multiple weeks thanks to a high-ankle sprain he suffered during a 31-17 defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The timeline McCaffrey was given after the injury was four to six weeks. The superstar vows to return sooner than that.

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick said NFL social justice initiatives were “propaganda” on Sunday as scattered protests marked the first full day of the 2020 season.

Kaepernick, who launched his kneeling protests in 2016 to draw attention to racial injustice, questioned the sincerity of the NFL’s stance against racism, citing the fact that fellow player-activist Eric Reid remained unemployed.

Reid, who joined Kaepernick’s protests in 2016 when the two played for the 49

nfl-rams-malcolm-brown-sept-13-2020-AP-1.jpgSoFi Stadium was devoid of fans on last night’s Sunday Night Football due to the coronavirus pandemic, but full of victory for the hometown Los Angeles Rams. Sadly, that winning feeling wasn’t reflected in the ratings for NBC and the NFL in SNF‘s season opener.

The team’s first game at its sparkling new $5 billion digs saw the Rams take down the Dallas Cowboys 20-17 in a grinding battle in which Rams running back Malcolm Brown score two touchdowns. Fighting right to the end against

Brady’s Bucs debut on Sunday vs. the New Orleans Saints was a mixed bag. The former New England Patriots quarterback got things started with a quality drive that surprisingly ended with a Brady rushing touchdown, and it was a rollercoaster ride from there.
