Why do we worry?
For me, it just comes naturally. My parents were worriers.
My mind goes back to final days before Mom’s death. She was recovering from lung cancer surgery and we were making important decisions.
Plans for Dad to enter assisted living were finalized. At the age of 87, his health was declining; he needed care that Mom could no longer provide. His social security payments would cover monthly payments to a nearby Veterans group home.

Many will remember a time when bankers didn’t always require proof of collateral.
The bankers and customers lived, worked and worshiped in the same small towns. Trusting the reputations of loan applicants they had faith in receiving promised payments. Deals were closed with confidence and a firm handshake.
Faith is a firm foundation.

Thought: Most of us reading this would agree were living in troublesome times. The last three years have made a grievous change in our lifestyle. God’s Word is clear that He will never leave us. He has made this promise, however, like with all of the Lord’s Covenants, He has a part and we have a part; ours is to keep His Commandments:
