There are many benefits to organic hair conditioners. They can bring life back to dry and damaged hair. There are many natural, organic products that are good for your hair. Organic products can help to revive your hair and scalp from years of harsh treatments. Organic products are more expensive but if you are concerned about harsh chemicals these products are a good choice for you.

There are many components in organic hair care products. Organic tea tree oil is a common ingredient. Beta glucan has immune enhancing agents and helps people with skin conditions. Aloe vera stimulates the growth of your hair and is an important component in hair growth. Coconut oil moisturizers and keeps the frizzes away. Organic shea butter gives hair the shine that we all crave. Most organic conditioners are full of natural mineral and herbal extracts and oils. The herbal extracts and oils add a nice scent to your conditioner. Some scents are not as good as others and you should make sure that you like the scent before ordering the product. Some scents can be strong.

There are many organic hair conditioners on the market. You can choose a product like Burt's Bees that offers natural ingredients and products at a reasonable price. Burt's Bees can be found at many retail stores. You can also choose a higher end product like Dermorganic or Rare El'ements. These products can also be purchased online.

Organic hair conditioner are beneficial because they are gentle on the skin and are free of irritants that can give you break outs. This is especially important if you have sensitive skin or a sensitive scalp. Many skin conditions such as eczema make your skin flaky and dry and organic products assist with this condition. Organic products are great for skin complications.

Many of the mainstream hair conditioners have toxic chemicals and are not good for your hair and skin. Organic products offer a toxic free alternative. They contain natural extracts without the harsh chemicals. They also provide extra vitamins and stimulate hair growth.

Most organic hair conditioners are not tested on animals and therefore you can rest assured that the inhumane treatment of animals was not practiced to test their product. This is a concern of many consumers and one of the reasons that many consumers choose to go the organic route.

Organic hair care products also do not have residue build up. If there is no residue build up then your hair will be shiny and lustrous. There will be no dull, lackluster hair for you.

Organic hair care conditioners are an environmentally good choice and many people make this choice to go green. Go green products are very popular now and will continue to be popular. Many people believe that organic products are the wave of the future. If you want beautiful, shiny hair and you want natural ingredients then organic products are right for you and your hair. You can feel good about your choice even if you have to pay a little more.

A Texas grocery store employee who spent nearly 25 years in prison in his wife's beating death walked free Tuesday after DNA tests showed another man was responsible. His attorneys say prosecutors and investigators kept evidence from the defense that would have helped acquit him at trial.

Michael Morton, 57, was convicted on circumstantial evidence and sentenced to life in prison for the August 1986 killing of his wife, Christine. Morton said he left her and the couple's 3-year-old son to head to work early the morning of the slaying, and maintained through the years that an intruder must have killed her.

Prosecutors had claimed Morton killed his wife in a fit of rage after she wouldn't have sex with him following a dinner celebrating his 32nd birthday.

Wearing a simple button-down shirt and a nervous smile, Morton hugged each of his half-dozen defense attorneys, then hugged his parents after District Judge Sid Harle said he was a free man.

"You do have my sympathies," Harle said. "You have my apologies. . . . We do not have a perfect system of justice, but we have the best system of justice in the world."

Addressing reporters moments later, Morton struggled to hold back tears.

"I thank God this wasn't a capital case. That I only had life because it gave these saints here at the Innocence Projects time to do this," he said.

Texas has executed more prisoners than any other state. The New York-based Innocence Project, which helped Morton secure his release, specializes in using DNA testing to overturn wrongful convictions.

This summer, using techniques that weren't available during Morton's 1987 trial, authorities detected Christine Morton's DNA on a bloody bandana discovered near the Morton home soon after her death, along with that of a convicted felon whose name has not been released.

"Colors seem real bright to me now. Women are real good looking," Morton said with a smile. He then headed to a celebratory dinner with his family and lawyers.

The case in Williamson County, north of Austin, will likely raise more questions about the district attorney, John Bradley, a Gov. Rick Perry appointee whose tenure on the Texas Forensic Science Commission was controversial. Bradley criticized the commission's investigation of the case of Cameron Todd Willingham, who was executed in 2004 after being convicted of arson in the deaths of his three children. Some experts have since concluded the forensic science in the case was faulty.

Bradley did not try the original case against Morton. But the Innocence Project has accused him of suppressing evidence that would have helped clear Morton sooner. That evidence - including a transcript of a police interview indicating that Morton's son said the attacker was not his father and that his wife's credit card and personal checks were used after she was killed - was ultimately obtained through a Texas Public Information Act request.

Bradley agreed Morton should be freed after the other man's DNA was tied to a similar slaying in January 1988 - after Morton was already in prison.

Harle signed an agreement Monday recommending that Morton's conviction be overturned. It was passed on to the state Court of Criminal Appeals, which will make the final ruling that could make Morton eligible for state compensation of $80,000 per year he was wrongfully imprisoned - about $2 million total.

Morton is not allowed to leave Texas until the Court of Criminal Appeals rules. Innocence Project co-founder Barry Sheck said that process usually takes at least a month but could take two or three.

Asked if he ever thought he would be released, Morton said, "I prayed for it, and I had faith it would arise."

His lawyers said he couldn't answer more questions about his case because of the pending appeals court decision, and separate court filings charging police and prosecutorial misconduct.

Morton's defense attorney, John Raley, said his client was told a few years ago that if he showed remorse for the crime, he likely would have been paroled.

"I don't know what I would respond after the system had let me down the way it had and I'd been in prison 23, 24 years," Raley said. "But this man told them, `All I have left is my actual innocence. And if I have to spend the rest of my life in prison I'm not giving that up.'"

Morton's release could become an issue for Perry, who is vying for the Republican presidential nomination. Perry appointed Bradley to the forensic commission in 2009, but the Texas Senate refused to confirm him after he told reporters Willingham was a "guilty monster."

A report indicating that the science in the Willingham case might have been flawed was submitted to Perry's office as part of the appeals Willingham's lawyers filed before his execution.

Hip-hop artist Lecrae is the newest individual to share his story on Iamsecond.com, a website featuring video testimonies of personal struggle, transformation and hope of celebrities and everyday people.

“Hip-hop is more than music, it’s actually culture,” said Lecrae. “It’s the lens through which you see the world.”

As a child, Lecrae’s world was void of good role models. Growing up with a single mom, Lecrae admits he would watch rap videos at his grandmother’s house and found people to fill the void. Despite his ability to rap, Lecrae wrestled with insignificance, having never met his father and experiencing abuse and neglect. He sought to fulfill this emptiness by surrounding himself with gangsters. Before long, Lecrae was embroiled in a world filled with drugs, theft, alcohol and gang activity.

“I didn’t fit in anywhere. I was just a misfit of a person,” he said.

His mother encouraged him to read the Bible, but instead he tore out the pages. Lecrae thought church was for older people and not for him, a perception he developed while attending a few times with his grandmother.

It wasn’t until a friend invited him to attend a conference out of town, that Lecrae realized his preconceived notions about faith may have been wrong.

“I saw guys who have been shot for being in gangs, girls who were extremely promiscuous in the past – rappers, dancers, singers – people who came from the same background I came from and they still embodied who they were culturally. But they were all in love with Jesus,” Lecrae said. “And I had never seen that before.”

Lecrae didn’t understand the God they were talking about but remembers asking God to get him out of the life he was living.

Not long after, Lecrae was driving and took a turn too fast when his car flipped over several times. The roof caved in, the windshield broke and the glasses he was wearing molded into the frame of the car, yet he didn’t have a scratch on him. It was that moment he decided it was time to live for Jesus.

“I saw a change. I spent a lot of time searching for father figures, and God has shown me that, ultimately, he’s my father that drives me to keep pressing,” Lecrae said.

Lecrae started volunteering at a juvenile detention center, singing songs he had written in his darkest moments when crying out to God.

“You’d just see them sitting there weeping. And time after time they keep requesting, ‘Can you do that song? I need something that’s going to remind me that I need Jesus,’” said Lecrae. “This is what I want to do – use music to offer hope and encouragement.”

Lecrae has released four albums with his newest, Rehab Deluxe, hitting stores Sept. 27.

The Battery - One album cover

The legendary rhyme skills of Jurny Big and the masterful production of Peace 586 come together on the release of their first music video for "Break".

"Break" is the lead single from their new album "One" and it features the talented DJ Aslan on the scratches. On the track, Jurny Big gets instrospective about dreams of "blowing up" and how he now sees his music in it's proper place in life. While holding his daughter he poignantly rhymes "While you tripping on how they gonna pay they baby moms / I'm spittin' with my baby in my arms..."

Filmed by Jon Madison, the video breaks free from the run of the mill rap video that's so common today.

Over the past year there have been two mobile handsets that have really stood out from the crowd in the shape of the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the HTC Sensation.  We can now welcome the next generation of these models with the release of the Sensation XE and the Galaxy Note.  We look around these two highly anticipated phones to see if Samsung still hold the upper hand.
Casting your eyes over these phones for the first time you would be hard pressed to choose a favourite from these devices.  Both handsets offer a modern and sleek design with some improvements over the earlier generation models.  The Galaxy Note boasts the more simple design of the two with its slab like appearance and straight edges.  The design of this phone is very simple but this is part of its attraction and the device holds it own against many of its more extravagantly designed rivals.  The Sensation XE uses the same body as the original model but has spiced things up by adding some crimson flashes which stand out well from the darker body.  A large letter "B" on the phones back panel denotes the presence of Beats Audio technology and adds appeal to the overall design.
Neither of these handset can be classed as compact phones thanks to the large screens that they incorporate.  The Samsung Galaxy Note certainly offers the bigger screen thanks to its mammoth 5.3 inch Super AMOLED display.  A screen of this size deserves to be backed up by a hefty resolution and Samsung have done themselves proud in this area by giving the phone a huge 800 x 1280 quality.  This means that rather than lose quality by adding some extra size the handset delivers a standard higher than many of its smaller screen counterparts with a pixels per inch count of 285.  The HTC Sensation XE sticks with the same screen size as was used in the original model.  This 4.3 inch S-LCD screen manages to offer a high quality PPI rating of 256 from its 540 x  960 resolution display.  Both of the models use capacitive touch panels for very responsive control and also support multi touch to enable great features such as Pinch and Zoom.
As you would expect from two premium handsets both devices offer fast processors to ensure that operation is both responsive and performed at great speed.  The Galaxy Note and the Sensation XE run dual core chips with the HTC models offering a slightly more powerful 1.5Ghz chip than the 1.4Ghz unit fitted in the Samsung model.  There really is little to choose between these two models in this department with both devices offering lightning fast performance on all manner of tasks including gaming and web browsing.

After months of speculation, it's here: Amazon's tablet, the $199 Kindle Fire, was unveiled Wednesday.
Smaller and cheaper than Apple's dominant iPad, the Kindle Fire has a 7-inch display and runs on a heavily customized version of Google's Android operating system. The tablet offers Wi-Fi connectivity, but no 3G or other cellular connection. It also lacks a camera and microphone, two features found in most rival tablets.
But the Kindle Fire isn't trying to be an all-in-one computing device. Amazon's focus is on media consumption, like reading books and magazines as well as watching video and streaming music. The tablet includes a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime, the company's $79-a-year service that includes two-day shipping and some free streaming video access.
Priced at less than half the $499 starting price of an iPad, the Kindle Fire aims to undercut Apple's wildly popular tablet, which has sold 28 million units since its 2010 debut. The iPad's momentum is picking up: Apple sold a record 9.3 million iPads in its latest quarter.
Amazon will begin taking Kindle Fire orders on Wednesday, and will start shipping the device on November 15. At $199, the device will be slightly cheaper than Barnes & Noble's similar Nook Color, a $249 tablet that made its debut 11 months ago.
"We're making millions of these," Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos told the audience at a New York City press conference.

obama-heckler09.jpg"I agree, Jesus Christ is the Lord. I believe in that," President Barack Obama said in response to a heckler who disrupted his speech at a Los Angeles fundraiser Monday.

The president had just commenced his address to supporters at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, when a man began labeling him as "the Antichrist" before being dragged out of the fundraiser event by Secret Service agents.
The man, identified as David Serrano, had positioned himself at the front of the stage and shouted, "The Christian God is the one and only true living God, the creator of Heaven and the Universe."
The president stopped talking as the 800-strong crowd drowned out the heckler's shouts with chants of "Four more years! Four more years!"
As Serrano was being pulled from the venue he continued yelling, "Jesus Christ is God!" and "Barack Obama is the Antichrist!"
Tony Bell, a spokesman for Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich, described Mr. Serrano as a familiar figure at county meetings. Bell told the New York Daily News that Serrano "yells out his statements, which are very mistaken, odd interpretations of scriptures."

Christian hip-hop artist Lecrae is sending another message out to his fans: significance is found not in oneself but in God.

Christian hip-hop artist Lecrae Moore is the newest individual to share his story on iamsecond.com, a website featuring video testimonies of personal struggle, transformation and hope of celebrities and everyday people.

In the latest video featured on iamsecond.com, a website devoted to sharing the powerful testimonies of lives transformed through the Gospel, Lecrae Moore tells his own story of personal struggle and hope found in Christ.
All his life, Lecrae Moore wanted to feel a sense of significance. Growing up in a single parent home without a father, whom he never met, and a mother who was constantly working, he wrestled to find a sense of worth whether through his rapping or other activities.
To him, being a "well-manicured, good, all around student and person" was not going to help him find what he was looking for. So he chose a life of criminal and gang activity, drugs, theft, and alcohol instead.
"The people I looked up to were gangsters," he described on the site. "I wanted to be doing criminal activity so I kept rebelling and I kept doing worse."
But pretty soon after he was arrested for stealing in high school and put on a gang list, he wondered, "What am I doing with my life?" He felt like he didn't fit anywhere and was just a "misfit of a person."

Beauty Tips For Women Of All Ages

By Michael Oscar Pisani

Maintaining or improving one's beauty is essential for any woman nowadays. Many, unfortunately, resolve to go under the knife to surgically improve certain features of their body they feel are inhibiting their self-esteem due to the fact that they feel unworthy of their partners or maybe just jealous of other women around them taunting their voluptuous lips and bosoms in their presence. Of course, the attention drawn to them does not help the case of the poor women contemplating cosmetic surgery.

Whilst it is true that a minority of women do drastically improve their physiques or assets and also reduce a few years from their aging skin, which by this time has lost much of its original elasticity and lies sagging and withering at the mercy of the harsh environment, it is also true that natural and organic remedies have helped countless women beat the elements and retain or increase their beauty along the years.

Of all the body parts visible to the outside world, the head, particularly the face is extremely vulnerable to the elements and also the easiest to show signs of deterioration. Signs such as wrinkles or sagging cheeks are part of the aging process and if not dealt with immediately could wreak havoc to the bearer. Most attention is paid towards the face and make up, eye shadow, blushers and other similar concealers are used on a constant basis. Unbeknownst to most women, though these chemicals sometimes produce more harm than good and leave indelible marks that cannot easily be reversed. Some women have to realise that natural beauty should not be complemented by artificial means and that they sometimes actually even look better without them.

To maintain elasticity of skin tissue, water is the most vital resource and women should drink up to 8 glasses of water every day. Most natural juices (without added water or not concentrated)could also contribute to hydration, especially such juices such as carrot or tomato juice. A mixture of fruit and vegetable juices is probably the best concoction. Remember, the more colourful the potion the better it is for your skin!

The use of UV protection is not only valid for sun protection. It is also helpful to apply a layer under the make up especially when living in hot or humid conditions. Up to 80% of skin damage comes from the sun.

Try to choose a colour or complexion for such things as eye shadow and lipstick that compliments your skin colour and tone. Try and bring out the best in your features and make the most of them.

You know the importance of having great looking skin. Now, why not take that to the next level by considering organic make up products. The better department stores are now getting more request for these products and there is a reason for it.

Passion.  Hard work.  Faith.  These three things have thus far defined the career of Wes Pendleton – producer, rapper, and the newest addition to the Illect lineup.  Hailing from Philadelphia, Wes broke into the scene in 2006 under the moniker Teddy P. with Rhyme Council, a group featuring E-Pistle, R-Swift, and Young Joshua, before dropping his own beat-tape titled My Life Complete the following year.  The past few years have brought a whirlwind of releases and production credits, including work with muzeONE, Phanatik, The Ambasssador, Lecrae, Everyday Process, and many others.  His 2009 compilation album Word & Deed helped pave the way for The Paste-Up EP, Pendleton's breakout solo project, which has been downloaded over 10,000 times to date.

Wes started getting his hands dirty in 2000 with vinyl and an MPC before finding his own unique style of production in 2003 on Garage Band.  Now working with Logic Studio, Wes says his beats are still sample based, but now feature more of his love for gritty soul and blues.  "My sound in production hasn't changed too much over the years, but I have tried to add some more sounds to the repertoire."  Likewise, Wes has also focused in on polishing his style as a vocalist, steadily gaining respect as a rapper in addition to his production skills.  "I began rhyming a lot more about two years ago and I hope to continue to get better with the pad and the pen," says Wes.  "There are so many great emcees at Illect and I never want to disrespect the craft."

Wes Pendleton's passion for hip hop and soul music shine through brightly, both in his past releases and in his current work, and while his love for music drives him to strive towards excellence in his craft, it's his faith that pushes things to another level. "I hope to bring an east coast/soul sound to the camp, mixed with stories of life and the proclamation of my faith in Christ," says Pendleton.  "I'm most excited about being a part of a respected brand where I truly feel my talents fit like a glove."  If the continued progression found in recent projects like The Paste Up EP are any indication, the best is yet to come from the hard-working Wes Pendleton.

Look for a single release later this fall and a full length album in early 2012.

Christian rapper Lecrae has been confirmed to appear on the upcoming BET Hip Hop Awards which is set to air Tuesday, October 11, 2011. The award show, hosted by Mike Epps will feature its infamous Cypha (a round robin freestyle exhibition featuring artists representing various geographic locations, styles and persona) with Lecrae set to join the likes of Estelle, Saprano and Nitty Scott.

Simply said, this great exposure for Christian Hip Hop as well as Christians in general. While some may argue that Christians don’t have a place in secular events and environments such as these, in reality this is exactly the place that many are called to but are afraid to share the gospel. Compound that with the fact that Christian Hip Hop is a niche genre that has grown in exposure to the point that clearly even channels such as BET cannot deny its place in the larger Hip Hop arena, providing artist such as Lecrae a platform to not only showcase their obvious God-given talent but also their passion to use it to witness on a global scale.

This is also in adition to Lecrae’s recent appearance on the hit show Sunday Best, hosted by Kirk Franklin. Joined by Andy Mineo to perform the hit “Background” from his album Rehab, Lecrae helped usher in the Spirit for the season four finale of the contest show that crowned singer Amber Bullock its winner. Again, another opportunity for Christian Hip Hop share the message and Christians as a whole to express their diversity.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on any other news and changes that arise as we inch closer to the show date.

Lecrae is currently signed to Reach Records (http://www.reachrecords.com) and lives with his wife and children in Atlanta, GA where they serve as worship leaders at Bluprint Church.
