Jesse did not think he was much of a speaker. He stuttered a lot since he was a child, especially when he was nervous. This was something he was conscious of and felt embarrassed about. But he could not say opportunity. Two weeks ago he was invited to share something positive with inmates  at the prison where he served a twelve year sentence.

Jesse whispered a silent prayer asking God for his help as he alighted his vehicle.  He became very emotional as he entered the pri

Jesus said, "I tell you most solemnly that anyone who chooses a life of sin is trapped in a dead-end life and is, in fact, a slave. A slave is a transient, who can't come and go at will. The Son, though, has an established position, the run of the house. So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through.      -John 8:34-36

As un-believers we were all the slaves of sin...but Thank God there is Freedom through Jesus Christ!  Jesus said who ever He sets Free is Free Indeed. That

You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come ne

"I'm speechless, in awe—words fail me.
I should never have opened my mouth!
I've talked too much, way too much.

Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!  Psalm 32:11

Rejoicing!  Did you know that rejoicing begins as a choice and not as a response to circumstances?  It's why we can celebrate who and what God is and what He has done for us even in unpleasant circumstances.  What's more is that when we choose to rejoice it really confuses the enemy and it makes people want to know what it is that we have that they don't.  Making the choice to rejoice

2 Chronicles 33:1-25
Hezekiah was a god-fearing king who brought about reformation among the Israelites. His son Manasseh, however, was an evil ruler. He had watched his father walk with God and live according to Scripture. Yet he chose to ignore the Lord.
Manasseh worshipped false gods, even to the point of sacrificing his sons by fire in order to praise Molech. He practiced much evil--including witchcraft and sorcery-- and led Israel astray, thereby provoking God to anger. The king, al

"There was once a man who had two sons. The younger said to his father, 'Father, I want right now what's coming to me. So the father divided the property between them.

It wasn't long before the younger son packed his bags and left for a distant country. There, undisciplined and dissipated, he wasted everything he had. After he had gone through all his money, there was a bad famine all through that country and he began to hurt. He signed on with a citizen there who assigned him to his fiel

Ways to create a positive/inspiring morning routine

Here are some easy ideas you can implement into your morning to have that positive start to the day.  Why not choose 2-3 to start tomorrow?

  1. Get up on time.

The first and most important part of creating a morning routine? Don’t hit that snooze button! Set an alarm for your ideal wake up time, and move your alarm clock or phone across the room if you need to. Once you get out of bed, you’ll be less likely to get back in again.

  1. Do

34 Things A Righteous Woman Does

by Tonja Taylor

Although I am sure there are more, here are 34 things the LORD showed me that a Righteous Woman (a righteous bride, a daughter of Yahweh, the King of kings) does:

  1. Refreshes others by sharing the goodness of God with them in the way she lives, what she says, and what she does and doesn’t do, according to His Word

  2. Reveals the Truth to others--first by living it, then by speaking it or other means, as the LORD leads

  3. Rejects falsehood

  4. Returns to the LORD and helps othe

Daily Devotional: For You....

I challenge you today to begin to follow the example...begin to think of others.  Look for those opportunities where you can help someone else get ahead.  Think of those things that might be just a little bit uncomfortable for you but will have greater reward in the long run...better yet think of Christ and what you can do to continue His work to better Represent Him while you are still here on.
