When you look for the word first in the Bible, you find this teaching. You go first to God with, your problems. We don't take our problems first, to the bar. We don't numb our fears with narcotics.

We don't deny the existence of our struggles. No we take our problems first to Christ. He said

seek first the kingdom and his righteousness and look. All these things will be given to you as well.

Would you, like some advice to take into this year that, will save you from a month of heartaches?

The right prayer Covering is very important. It can even be the difference between life and death!

The LORD Jesus Christ died on the cross over 2,000 to shed His pure blood to cover the whole world! THAT is the ultimate Covering, and once we receive Him as our Savior and LORD, then He becomes our High Priest, Who ever lives to intercede (pray) for us to our Father God!

Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended and passed through the heavens,

Doubt and Lazarus

Read John 11:1-44

Part 2 – Jesus Prayed

Now at the tomb of Lazarus, after Jesus had wept over His friend, He asked them to do something that seemed very strange and frankly, stupid to the people there.  He asked them to remove the stone from the mouth of the tomb.    Lazarus and his sisters were not rich people.  While they had managed to secure a tomb, a small cave-like opening in the side of a hill, I’m certain they could not afford the ela

Lord Jesus, teach me to pray.

“And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Give us day by day our daily bread.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted

There are many forms of limitations we experience as human beings. Many times we may not realize that they are spiritual but they really are. The spiritual controls what happens in the physical. These limitations are usually forms of spiritual chains. You may notice that no matter how much effort you put in you have been unable to move from a level, or you may notice that no matter how much you try certain doors have not been open to you. These are limitations also known as spiritual chains. How

These are the proverbs of Solomon, David’s son, king of Israel. Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise.
(Proverbs 1:1-2 NLT)

What is the purpose of the proverbs of Solomon, King of Israel?  Are they promises or probabilities?

Proverbs is a book of wisdom or insights that if you apply, you will usually receive the desire results, but not always.  When I hear a Proverb taught as a promise, I shudder. Someone is

The messenger approached the group of men with reluctance.  He carried bad news that had to be given.  A very good friend of Jesus by the name of Lazarus was deathly sick.  Most thought He would rise immediately and go to His friend.  But to their utter surprise Jesus said that the sickness of Lazarus was not one leading to death, and He waited two days.

They doubted Jesus when He waited those two days before going to Bethany.  The Jewish leaders in Jerusalem (very close

“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You (Isaiah 26:3 NKJV).”

You, You, You…

I want Your perfect peace.

I need Your perfect peace.

Peace is impossible without the power of Your Spirit.

Anxiety and tension become controlling.

I willingly stay my mind on You.

I purposely fix and focus my thoughts on You.

Why?

Because I trust in YOU!

And lean not on your own understanding;

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.--Matthew 5:8-9, Berean Study Bible

The LORD our God is the living Word (John 1), and all right thoughts and words come from Him.

Since I was 10 or so, writing stories, and letters and more has come easily to me. It is one of my strongest gifts. However, years ago when I served as a supervisor over several other people, I  found one letter very hard

Yes, ‘I Can Only Imagine.’ (MercyMe)

Many of us have been in the presence of entertainers, sports heroes, authors, popular evangelists or politicians.

Some shake celebrities’ hands or get their autographs.

My husband has been a news director at radio and television station. It gave him the opportunity to

Today is an excellent day to bask in the goodness of God and to remind ourselves that sometimes God has to break us in order to build us.

God breaking us does not mean breaking, instead, it means that God may sometimes allow us to get to the end of ourselves in order for us to learn lessons and grow. Growth involves actualizing your strengths, becoming better than you once were and improving on the skills you initially possessed; this is God’s plan for us and sometimes he would have to break us

Well, it's new year's eve, and we're wrapping up another year of daily devotionals.

we're so thankful the lord has allowed us to help shape his kingdom by making these daily devotionals.

He could do this all by himself, but instead, our father in heaven wants us (including you) to be about his work. He wants us there with him brick by brick. That's the God we serve, an ever-present one, one who wants to be fully engaged with us as we fully engage with him. So I bet you're thinking the verse t

Luke 15:11-24 contains perhaps one of the most well-known parables in the Bible, the prodigal son. In it, a young man asks his father for his inheritance, so that he may be the master of his own destiny, so to speak. Soon, however, he runs into serious problems, and learns that his own desires led him to a dark place.

The Bible is regarded as the very Word of God. It teaches us every necessary knowledge that a man needs for existence and fulfilment of purpose. In it are the words from God inspired within the thoughts of men for the understanding of both the inspired and the man who needs the released word. Many of these words were revelations, some were instructions, some others are details of the experiences of men captured for the emancipation of the mind of the present-day man. Whether for a man or a peopl

"Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10

The words 'be still' were written in the context of a time of war; therefore, we should consider the verse with that context in mind. The English interpretation of to 'be still' is to "cease striving, or stop struggling."

To stop struggling is to learn to let go of that which we as a human cannot ‘fix’, resolve or remedy; confessing our helplessness. We then place our belief in God, who is faithful to fulfill all his promises

Happy Thanksgiving! You say it's not Thanksgiving? I say it is; we can make every day into a day of thanks giving. Itâs so easy. Just thank God. God is good. I'm guilty. I often take His blessings for granted. Today, Iâm grateful for my clothes washer and dryer. I usually do one or two loads of laundry every day. Thatâs a privilege. There have been times when I had to use Laundromats or wash out dirty clothes by hand. Believe me; it wasn't easy to w
