Tom Brady now stands alone as the winningest quarterback in NFL history.

The two-time MVP and four-time Super Bowl champion took sole possession of the all-time QB win record on Sunday after the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 26-10.

Brady had been tied for the mark, which includes both regular-season and playoff victories, with longtime rival Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos.

GLENDALE, Ariz. — It was after the first New England touchdown drive and Jimmy Garoppolo had looked, well, like Tom Brady. Garoppolo walked to the Patriots sideline, snapped an ammonia capsule in half, and inhaled.

The powerful fumes caused his head to shake back and forth. Then he smiled. He was going to enjoy this moment.

No, Garoppolo wasn't perfect Sunday night, and if you want to give credit to a Patriots defense that weathered the GOATish Larry Fitzgerald blitzkrieg, you wouldn't be wron

Round 2 – unlike the first – goes to the NFL – and Tom Brady’s four-game suspension has been reinstated.

A panel of three judges in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit has ruled in favor of the league in the ongoing Deflategate case against the Patriots quarterback and the NFL Players Association.

The court announced the decision on its website Monday to reverse the decision by a U.S. District Judge, and reinstate Brady’s four-game suspension.

This comes as a drastic momentum swin

Tom Brady made sure the New England Patriots got off to a fast start on Sunday night, and when the offense stalled after halftime the defense did the rest.

Breaking down the Denver Broncos’ overtime 30-24 win against the New England Patriots at Sports Authority Field at Mile High:

Big picture: The New England Patriots suffered their first loss – but watching tight end Rob Gronkowski carted off the field late in the fourth quarter likely hurts more than dropping a game in the AFC standings. After all of the other injuries the Patriots offense has suffered this year – season-ending injuries to left tackle Nate Solder, running back Dion Lewis and r

Breaking down the New England Patriots’ 27-26 victory against the New York Giants.

What we’ll be talking about: New England’s comeback. Down two points with 1:47 left to play, quarterback Tom Brady engineered yet another game-winning drive, capped by a 54-yard field goal by kicker Stephen Gostkowski. New England showed why it continues to be one of the best teams in the NFL. But at times, the Patriots looked vulnerable. But even though the Giants lost this one, did they lay out a blueprint on

There are two things I’m nearly certain of when it comes to the New England Patriots.

First: If they were ever deflating footballs, or otherwise engaging in putrid malfeasance, they are no longer.

Second: They may absolutely, as they did eight years ago, annihilate the rest of the league all season. No, they won’t go undefeated, but it could still be ugly for the rest of the NFL. It could be Godzilla-ish with other franchises serving as small neighborhoods in Tokyo.

They put up fiddy agains

Something happened during the NFL’s season opener between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers.

“We were listening to the Patriots’ radio broadcast for the majority of the first half through our headsets,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters follow a 28-21 loss.  “We will let the league officials handle it.”

Except Pittsburgh didn’t let the league officials handle it. They wrote about it on the team’s official website and came within an inch of accusing New England of cheat

It was hardly a “U mad bro?” type of moment for Richard Sherman when Tom Brady’s name came up after the Seattle Seahawks finished off a camp practice this week.

It was more a matter of Sherman feeling Brady’s pain.

Tom Brady, the star quarterback of the New England Patriots, was suspended for four games after an investigator concluded he was probably aware that team personnel let air out of footballs for a playoff game.

The league informed Brady in a letter from NFL Executive President Troy Vincent, who wrote that Brady failed to cooperate fully with the investigation and offered testimony that “was not plausible and contradicted by other evidence.”

A Massachusetts jury on Wednesday found Hernandez killed Odin Lloyd on June 17, 2013. Lloyd was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee. He was found shot six times in an industrial park less than a mile from Hernandez’s home.

At the time, Hernandez had a $40 million contract with the Patriots.

Hernandez’s lawyer acknowledged during closing arguments that he was there when Lloyd was killed. But

The New England Patriots, coach Bill Belichick and the NFL are really going to have some questions to answer in the run-up to Super Bowl XLIX now.

ESPN reported late Tuesday night the Patriots had 11 of their 12 allotted game footballs underinflated by 2 pounds per square inch for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game rout of the Indianapolis Colts, citing “league sources either involved or familiar with the investigation.”

NFL spokesman Michael Signora said in an email the league is “not commenting
