There are many tablets coming in the market this year especially from the tech giants (Apple, Samsung, Google) and now it is Microsoft’s turn. As we all know once the gadget is disclosed by the company the rumors about their release date continue until it is actually released. So same is the case with the release date of Surface Mini. The latest rumor says the Surface mini will be released along with the surface 3 before holidays.

Like Surface Pro, Surface Mini will also be coming with the di

After announcing its new iPhone models just a few weeks ago, Apple has turned its attention to the iPad at an event held in San Francisco. CEO Tim Cook described the tablet as the perfect combination of simplicity and capability. “Beautifully simple on the outside, but packed with tech inside,” he said. Cook then revealed the latest additions to the range, and the iPad Air 2 was the first new model revealed.

Design-wise, the tablet hasn’t altered drastically, but it has become even slimmer a

Unlock-Cell-Phones.jpg

Your two-year contract is finally up, and you want to save some money by bringing your phone to a carrier with lower monthly costs. Unfortunately, odds are that your phone is carrier locked, which prevents you from jumping ship and using your phone on another network. Thankfully, some carriers could already unlock your phone voluntarily, but the Unlocking Consumer Choice and Wireless Competition Act, which was signed into law early last month, set the unlock requirement in stone.

Don’t start looking for any connection between the new Huawei Ascend Mate 7’s name and previous Huawei hardware, because there really isn’t one. Yes we’ve seen Mate series phones before, but the last one was the Mate 2. Think the number 7 relates to the screen size? Think again — it measures 6 inches. Go figure.

But wait, what’s that? You read right: The Ascend Mate 7 has an enormous 6-inch display.

It makes the phone a bit of a monster, but it’s nowhere near the size it could have been

If the silver and space gray iPads are a little too boring for your taste, you might soon have a new color option to choose from — gold.

According to a new report from Bloomberg, citing unnamed people familiar with the plans, Apple is planning to add a gold color option for its next-gen 9.7-inch iPad, expected to be unveiled later this month.

Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.article-0-185B4F7F00000578-341_634x373.jpg

The company is reportedly adding the gold model in an effort to “boost a category that’s

Sitting in his bedroom in Hoboken, N.J., in June, 20-year-old YouTube tech reviewing sensation Marques Brownlee held a secretly leaked iPhone 6 screen up to a camera and began stabbing repeatedly at its supposedly indestructible glass surface.

His outrageous routine and exclusive tidbits about the then-yet-to-be-released iPhone 6 proved to be a potent combo for the highly

The squared design is going to be a matter of taste, given how challenging one-handed operation can be, but BlackBerry could be on to something.

It is perhaps fitting that a company as maligned and battered as BlackBerry would launch a new smartphone that has one of the oddest dimensions and form factors seen in a handset to date. For a device that is supposed to reflect the notion of “serious business,” as company execs kept saying, this is a phone that is a head-turner, thoug

When it comes to buying a new smartphone, our choice is huge. We can even decide if we want a certain color or a wooden rear panel to make the new device truly ours. However, sometimes we want to get something unusual, a smartphone that stands out because very few others have one. Thanks to the rise of some interesting international smartphone brands — Xiaomi, Meizu, Lenovo, and Oppo to name just a few — it’s becoming easier to satisfy that desire.

However, phones produced by the

Apple sold a record 4 million iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units in the first 24 hours of their availability. On Monday, the company followed that announcement by saying it sold a record 10 million iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units over the opening weekend.

The iPhone 6 sales shattered the earlier record of 9 million units sold during the first weekend of availability that was set by the iPhone 5S and 5C. It also blew past sales of the iPhone 5, which amounted to 5 million units sold in the first t

For those wanting a large screen tablet and a stock Android experience, the selection has been limited. The most common choice is Google’s Nexus 10, but unfortunately that tablet has not seen an update since its original release. Google spent more time refining their smaller Nexus 7 and left the Nexus 10 in the dust. Many have been waiting for a new Nexus 10 but have seen nothing. Recently, rumors have been spreading that Google is collaborating with HTC on a 9-inch tablet which is of course

Everyone seems genuinely excited about the larger iPhone 6 since Apple’s announcement last week. But I have to ask, why exactly is there an iPhone 6 Plus again? For years, Apple has sworn off phablets. Its CEOs and executives have publicly insulted them and it made claims that human hands aren’t built for them. But now, without explanation, Apple is an unapologetic phablet manufacturer.

It isn’t bad that Apple’s making phablets, but it is a sign that the company is willing to sacrif

APPLE IPHONE 6 PLUS REVIEW

Beautiful design (wish it was waterproof)

Year in and year out, the iPhone is always the best-looking, best-built phone available. Nothing has changed with the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. Aside from the HTC One M8, nothing out there comes close to its design quality.

Notable design features:

  • An insanely thin 7.1mm body (the thinness should help if you use a case)
  • A brushed-aluminum frame (silver, black, or champagne “gold” available)
  • Less plastic than last year around the top and bottom

Apple iPhone 6 hands on

After squirming through 1,000 of my closest friends and a battery of Apple reps to the iPhone 6 demonstration models on display after Tuesday’s unveiling, I was disappointed.

I thought they were fakes, with printed plastic screens simulating the iPhone experience until working units could be cobbled together. I confess, I was fooled.

The new screens are real, and they’re spectacular.

It’s not just the larger bodies on the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus that will impress iFans, nor the slew

Apple’s iPhone 6 was perhaps the most highly anticipated device of 2014. Now, after a long, suspenseful year full of rumors and contradictory reports, the next iPhone is finally here. As expected, Apple will sell two different versions of the iPhone 6: one with a 4.7-inch screen and another with a 5.5-inch screen, called the iPhone 6 Plus.

Here’s everything we know so far about both iPhones:

Bigger, beautiful screens

The smaller iPhone 6 features a 4.7-inch screen with a pixel resolution of 13
