Womanhood is one of the very interesting things about life that many people have failed to comprehend. In simple terms, womanhood is the state or condition of being a woman. A woman is an adult female human. Prior to this stage of growth, a woman is first referred to as a girl and then a lady. At the point of being referred to as a woman, the female entity must have attained maturity and be able to carry out the necessary responsibilities of being a woman. Many people in today’s society do not c

‘Tear down this wall!’  [June 12,1987]

Jesus has removed the walls of separatism and favoritism.

“For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer].

For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved.’

But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will

Our topic is God has a big blessing planned for you this year.
It is a new year and people are always expectant, they expect from God, they expect protection, favor, blessings and much more. They expect from people, their jobs and other areas of their lives, commitment, dedication, and loyalty. Compared to Gods’ blessings, the world standard of blessing is a cheap bogus you will always be disappointed if you expect from man rather than God. Gods’ blessings for you is true and long-lasting, unl

Daily Devotional: Fingering Braille

by PamFord Davis

This morning I had thoughts of my two blind friends. One, (a radio friend) for over 40 years lives about 1 ½ hours away. The other I’ve known for 10 years, (but never met face-to-face) is a missionary living in Africa. What brought them to mind?

I had just opened a Bible.

My fingers moved across a page while thinking about how precious God’s word is to me. I compared my searching to a blind person fingering Braille to read a special message. It’s as if the blind see thro

Lord Jesus, teach me to pray.

“And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Give us day by day our daily bread.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is

Daily Devotional : Will Reign Forever

By PamFord Davis

“Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned for fifty-five years in Jerusalem. He did evil in the sight of the Lord according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord dispossessed before the sons of Israel. For he rebuilt the high places which his father Hezekiah had torn down; he also set up altars for the Baals and made Asherim, and he worshiped all the heavenlylights and served them. He built altars in the house of the Lord of which the Lo

Doubt and Lazarus

John 11:1-44

Part 3 – Doubt Dismissed

And then, everything changed.  Surrounded by so much doubt and mixed emotions, Jesus brought a positive out of a negative situation.  He does that often you know.  He has made death, the most dreaded ending to every man, to be a victory if we come to Him.  He makes sickness and disease, physical handicaps and disabilities, to become victorious witnesses for His sustaining power.  He works miracles of heal

Doubt and Lazarus

Read John 11:1-44

Part 2 – Jesus Prayed

Now at the tomb of Lazarus, after Jesus had wept over His friend, He asked them to do something that seemed very strange and frankly, stupid to the people there.  He asked them to remove the stone from the mouth of the tomb.    Lazarus and his sisters were not rich people.  While they had managed to secure a tomb, a small cave-like opening in the side of a hill, I’m certain they could not afford the ela

Daily Devotional: Look, it's a Gourd!

by PamFord Davis

Look, it’s a gourd!

Gourd growers use a lot of seeds in their planting. In addition, gourd seed often comes out of dried gourds after harvesting. It’s not unusual to see new gourds popping up in lawns far from the gourd patch. Birds also eat and carry the seed.

“Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: ‘Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. Some fell on stony places, where they

Daily Devotional: Looking Up

by PamFord Davis

Are you looking up?

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament

The messenger approached the group of men with reluctance.  He carried bad news that had to be given.  A very good friend of Jesus by the name of Lazarus was deathly sick.  Most thought He would rise immediately and go to His friend.  But to their utter surprise Jesus said that the sickness of Lazarus was not one leading to death, and He waited two days.

They doubted Jesus when He waited those two days before going to Bethany.  The Jewish leaders in Jerusalem (very close

“You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You (Isaiah 26:3 NKJV).”

You, You, You…

I want Your perfect peace.

I need Your perfect peace.

Peace is impossible without the power of Your Spirit.

Anxiety and tension become controlling.

I willingly stay my mind on You.

I purposely fix and focus my thoughts on You.

Why?

Because I trust in YOU!

And lean not on your own understanding;

Daily Devotional: In His Presence

by PamFord Davis

“You will make known to me the way of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever (Psalm 16:11 NASB).”

In His presence…

Yes, ‘I Can Only Imagine.’ (MercyMe)

Many of us have been in the presence of entertainers, sports heroes, authors, popular evangelists or politicians.

Some shake celebrities’ hands or get their autographs.

My husband has been a news director at radio and television station. It gave him the opportunity to

Today is an excellent day to bask in the goodness of God and to remind ourselves that sometimes God has to break us in order to build us.

God breaking us does not mean breaking, instead, it means that God may sometimes allow us to get to the end of ourselves in order for us to learn lessons and grow. Growth involves actualizing your strengths, becoming better than you once were and improving on the skills you initially possessed; this is God’s plan for us and sometimes he would have to break us

Luke 15:11-24 contains perhaps one of the most well-known parables in the Bible, the prodigal son. In it, a young man asks his father for his inheritance, so that he may be the master of his own destiny, so to speak. Soon, however, he runs into serious problems, and learns that his own desires led him to a dark place.
