I love this scripture! It reminds me that God knows what’s best for me. Too many times we have our own agenda, plans, list etc... When to get married, have kids, buy a house, what career we want, life in general. Yet we fail to acknowledge the one who made us. Who know us entirely? From the hair on our heads to what will happen 10 years from now.

Imagine seeking Gods face, longing for His heart instead of His hand. I mean He is the creator of all things. It would be wise to seek counsel from Him on everyday matters. Yet, when he says WAIT! Whew! That’s a hard thing to do

! Trust me I am in my waiting room right now! When I tell you, I have ready every book and emptied the vending machine, cried, paced the floor and all. What I forgot to do was he second part of the above verse. It says be of good courage. That’s a hard thing to do when waiting. If the request takes to long you begin to worry and become doubtful. Your heart becomes weak which in return can have you leave the waiting room and answer your own request.

Don’t be that person! Don’t leave! Stay put! Yes, it will be frustrating! I know that feeling to well. It will be so worth it in the end! You will obtain the desires of your heart. Your life will be easier because you already trust and know who is in control. And without a shadow of a doubt He will never fail you!
