As Jordan watched from his luxury box, his Charlotte Bobcats were dealt their 23rd consecutive loss Thursday night 104-84 to New York Knicks and finished the shrunken season with the worst winning percentage in NBA history (.106). Oprah Shows Big Christian Love to Homeless Man

hcsp.jpgOprah Winfrey got her network execs to buy a homeless man dinner at posh Los Angeles restaurant Scarpetta. 

 
 
The media mogul joined four OWN executives on the patio at chef Scott Conant's Beverly Hills hotspot and enjoyed a five-course meal.
Winfrey was overheard saying, "I wish I could green-light everything."
Spies said a passerby then approached, pleading, "Oprah, can you help a homeless guy get a bowl of soup, please?"
She responded, "Please, can we get him some money, get him a meal."

The 32-year-old Christian rapper says biblical manhood is the key to stopping fatherlessness in Atlanta and beyond.
"Be the last of a dying breed, it's time that we man up." That's the last line of the new "Man Up Anthem" from Christian rap group 116 Clique. The song is just one sliver of a growing campaign launched last year by rapper Lecrae, 32, and his Reach Records in Atlanta, to get young men in hip-hop culture to "man up" into responsible husbands and fathers across the country.

Trayvon Martin Rally Draws Stars and Ministers to West Angeles COGIC

4798Community members and celebrities gathered at a Jefferson Park church Thursday to rally against racial profiling and to support slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin. 

 

 
The rally, held at West Angeles Church of God in Christ, was attended by family members of 17-year-old Trayvon, who was shot and killed by neighborhood watch commander George Zimmerman in February while walking home form a convenience store.

Amazon's Kindle Fire Tablet Conquers Over Half of the Android Market

The Amazon Kindle Fire tablet has conquered over half of the Android market, according to new data collected by the research firm known as ComScore.


 
The wildly popular tablet accounts for 54.4 percent of the total Android market as of the end of this month.
The Kindle Fire has only been available for six months and it has already blown past high-end Android tablets such as Samsung's Galaxy Tab series that owns 15.4 percent of the market.

Jewish Americans hold more favorable views of Mormons and Muslims than those belonging to the "Christian Right," according to a recently published survey on Jewish values.
The findings were part of the "2012 Jewish Values Survey," which was published on April 3 by the non-Jewish Public Religion Research Institute. For the study, researchers asked 1,000 Jewish Americans to rate how favorably they view Mormons, Muslims, and members of the so-called "Christian Right" on a scale of 1 to 100.
