It's been 3 years since the last official release from the Oceanside California native known as Nomis. In that time, Nomis has re-prioritized his position as an artist and the direction of his music. Christian hip-hop's leading label Reach Records has recently changed the "About" section on their website by taking the words "116" and Jesus out. The new statement reads as follows.

Like many startups, passion overrides the lack of experience and drives it forward. We were excited to make a difference, ready to see the world change. Even then, when con

When it comes to issues of Social Justice, the seemingly constant horrific story after another can understandably become very taxing to both the mind and spirit. There's so much bad news it becomes difficult to keep reading, keep fighting, and keep smiling. But it is imperative in situations like these that we continue to smile, laugh, and experience joy. In early 2012, Atlanta-based rapper Alex Faith toured with Christian hip-hop supergroup High Society Collective — formed by artists Sho Baraka, Swoope, J.R. and Natalie Lauren.

Faith wasn’t a rapper on High Society, though. He managed the tour. At this point, his music resume consisted of recording, mixing, mastering and featuring on Sho’s 2009 mixtape Barakology, engineering Lecrae's single "Far Away" and much of Sho's 2010 album Lions & Liars, and spot engineering on several
