I co-wrote the original version with Derek Minor for his album Empire which released earlier this year. On this version I share a small part of my story to encourage the listener that while we all face rejection and suffer hurt there is true hope to be had in this life. It's my prayer that this song encourages us to patiently walk with each other in understanding.
