In Jesus' Parable of the Two Sons, a father asked his first son to go and work in the vineyard. His first son said he would not, but then changed his mind and went to work. The father then asked his second son the same thing. The second son replied that he would go, but did not.

After telling this parable to the people, Jesus asked them which of the two sons did their father's wishes. They agreed it was the first son.

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness" Genesis 1:26-27 (NIV)

What exactly does it mean to be made in God's image and likeness? "Image" and "likeness" are actually similar yet distinct terms. I believe they are complementary and better define the passage's meaning.

Steps to becoming an overcomer: 

1. Realize that God will see you out of every battle that comes your way.
It may not "feel" like it at first, but God is waging war with His heavenly hosts on your behalf. Your job is to remain in prayer and faith as the victory comes.
