The tracks on this album were originally produced by a guy named Alex Goose for Jay-Z's the Blueprint 3. Unfortunately, none of the tracks made the cut on that album, so Alex Goose released it all for free. When five of the members of Deepspace5 saw this, they quickly created a free mixtape using the tracks.

The Ambassador CD
This, the third segment flowing from the camp, is titled Christology - In Laymen’s Terms, and serves as the solo debut from Cross Movement member, the Ambassador(aka William Branch).

The first track (let’s call it an ‘introlude’) sums up the overriding theme of the project, as the Ambassador declares in prayer, “I deliberately focus on your Person, and the work of your Son, Jesus Christ.” He elaborates in a subsequent interlude, “We focus in on Christ, the Person, the work, the pre-existence

...to be widely known is to be widely misunderstood, and that's part of it...

Press into discomfort
From the album's title track, Mineo recites the line "Comfort is a thing that'll make a King fall" and expounds on it by saying: "I think being uncomfortable is a thing nobody really enjoys. Everybody kind of uses that phrase 'I just want to live a comfortable life', but the times when we're uncomfortable are the times when we're being challenged to grow, change and to evolve as people." A lot of music dropped in 2019. Unfortunately sometimes dope albums fly under the radar. Thi'sl dropped a nice little heat rock, but unfortunately it came out on the same day that somebody named Kanye dropped A very anticipated Album, Jesus is King.

Two of my favorite artist decided to click up and drop one of the best hip hop albums of 2019, and what I feel is the most slept on album of the year. If you are a hip hop head, trust me, one listen and you will be hooked.

The hip hop of today is multi-faceted, with many different artists and a variety of styles.

CDMars Ill is a group that captures hip hop in its purest form: honest lyrics, dope beats with guitar, horn and eerie samples together with two turntables.

Dust provides the beats and Manchild, the lyrics, as they explain what they are about on the horn-filled, “Breathe Slow”. That definition is “Aristotle mixed with Krush Groove”.

The always entertaining and zany Pigeon John guests on “Plains and T

Propaganda & Odd Thomas 'Art Ambidextrous'

'Art Ambidextrous' is not for the faint of heart. This album dives in, rushing pass the surface immediately heading towards the deep things of faith and life. Propaganda is a mindless rap listener worst fear. He is an artist who makes music that pulls you in with style and then force feeds you substance. I hope you bring hungry stomachs for songs like "Inheritance." This is a song that paints an amazingly detailed portrait of a heart broken fathe

It’s not too often I find myself wanting to grab a cup of coffee, fit on my best pair of over-the-ear headphones, and begin meditating on a hip-hop album. Beautiful Eulogy—hailing from Portland, Oregon—is back with their third studio album titled Worthy, and the excellence and originality of their art is once again deserving of a close listen.

The hip-hop climate is faddish, and I’ve had trouble sitting with albums past their release weekends. I’ve had about a

Reach Records and the 116 Clique always seem to be putting in work. They’ve put out a handful of solo releases and two versions of their 116 Clique Compilation album within the past year. Now the crew is back at it again with a new 116 Clique album, this time bringing in their 1-1-Six family from all across the United States. The purpose this time around is to give the listener an overview of the writings of the Apostle Paul that are found in the Bible with an album appropriately titled 13 Lett

The phrase "good things come to those that wait" rings true with their second release, The G

3 Reasons Why You Should Pay Attention to The Elephant In The Room

When there is an “elephant in the room” generally no one wants to talk about it or mention it. The “elephant” is often an idea, event, or secret that everyone knows but they choose not to acknowledge. Elephant In The Room by Gemstones is not a mixtape that you will want to keep quiet about at all. When I think of Gemstones, I’m reminded of artists like Dee-1 and No Malice. Artists that rep Him on the daily while weaving th
