3 Tips For Daily Motivation

Hey, happy motivation Monday! I hope you're having a great start to your week. I know sometimes it can be hard to get out of bed and face the challenges ahead, but I want to share with you some tips that help me stay motivated and positive.

First, I like to set some goals for myself every morning. They don't have to be big or complicated, just something that I can work towards and feel good about when I achieve them. For example, today my goals are to finish this blog post, work on clothing designs, and call a friend. Having these goals helps me focus on what matters and avoid distractions.

Second, I like to reward myself for my efforts. Whenever I complete a task or make progress on a goal, I give myself a little treat. It could be something simple like a cup of tea, a piece of chocolate, or a few minutes of browsing social media. These rewards make me feel happy and motivated to keep going.

Third, I like to surround myself with positive people and messages. I follow accounts that inspire me, share uplifting stories, and offer helpful advice. I also try to avoid negativity and drama as much as possible. I find that having a positive mindset makes a huge difference in how I feel and perform.

These are some of the things that work for me, but you may have your own ways of staying motivated. The important thing is to find what works for you and stick to it. Remember, you are capable of amazing things and you have the power to make your dreams come true. Don't let anyone or anything stop you from being your best self.

I hope this post gave you some motivation and inspiration for your week. Let me know in the comments what your goals are and how you plan to achieve them. And don't forget to share this post with your friends who might need a boost of motivation too. Have an awesome day!

Have you ever felt like you are missing out on God's blessings in your life? Do you wonder why others seem to have more joy, peace, and abundance than you do? If so, you might be blocking your blessings without even realizing it.

Blocking your blessings means that you are hindering God's work in your life by your own actions, attitudes, or beliefs. You are not allowing God to bless you as He desires, because you are not aligned with His will or His ways.

Some of the common ways that we block our blessings are:

- Disobedience: When we disobey God's commands or ignore His guidance, we are telling Him that we know better than He does. We are rejecting His authority and His love for us. We are also opening ourselves up to the consequences of sin, which can rob us of God's best for us.

- Unforgiveness: When we hold on to bitterness, resentment, or anger towards others, we are blocking the flow of God's grace and mercy in our lives. We are also hurting ourselves and damaging our relationships. Unforgiveness can prevent us from receiving God's forgiveness and healing.

- Fear: When we let fear dominate our thoughts and emotions, we are limiting God's power and presence in our lives. We are not trusting Him to take care of us and to provide for our needs. Fear can paralyze us from taking steps of faith and following God's plans for us.

- Pride: When we rely on our own strength, wisdom, or abilities, we are blocking God's grace and favor in our lives. We are not acknowledging our dependence on Him and our need for His help. Pride can also make us resist God's correction and instruction.

- Doubt: When we doubt God's promises, character, or goodness, we are blocking His faithfulness and provision in our lives. We are not believing that He is able to do what He says He will do. Doubt can also make us miss God's opportunities and miracles.

If you recognize any of these signs in your life, don't despair. There is hope and there is a way to unblock your blessings. The key is to repent and to surrender to God. Repent means to turn away from your sin and to turn back to God. Surrender means to give up your control and to give in to God's will.

When you repent and surrender, you are inviting God to work in your life and to bless you according to His purpose. You are opening yourself up to receive all that He has for you. You are also aligning yourself with His kingdom and His glory.

So don't block your blessings any longer. Stop doing what displeases God and start doing what pleases Him. Stop resisting God and start cooperating with Him. Stop limiting God and start trusting Him. You will be amazed at what He can do in and through you when you let Him have His way.

Aug 11, 2023 (Nashville, Tenn.) – Having recently appeared on GM3’s ‘Faith Friday’ segment and kicked off the Summer Worship Nights Tour in his hometown of Tampa, FL Dove-Award-winning and Billboard chart-topping rapper KB has unveiled his highly-anticipated fifth studio album, His Glory Alone II (Sony’s RCAI/Provident Entertainment). Today also marks the release of the single “Miracles” featuring longtime friend and former Reach Records’ labelmate, multi-Grammy winner Lecrae. The song is a re-imagined version of Maverick City Music & Elevation Worship’s hit “Million Little Miracles.”

Watch KB’s “Miracles” featuring Lecrae, off of his fifth studio album His Glory Alone II out now.

When sharing about the song, the critically acclaimed author and artist says, “We get so frustrated about what God has not done yet, that we don’t appreciate what He is doing now or has done. This strengthens our faith because it reminds us that it is the little things that He has done that are miracles. Think of those moments that should have gone differently, but they didn’t due to the hands of God touching the natural with the supernatural.”

His Glory Alone II was produced by WEARETHEGOOD, Scootie Wop and Cardec Drums and features 16 engaging tracks with various guest artists appearing throughout. Sonically, listeners will find music influences ranging from hip hop, gospel, afro-beats and soul with a few worshipful ballads in between, all infused with sounds and inspiration of  Gospel music icon Fred Hammond. To what he calls his most vulnerable album to date, the Southside Rabbi podcast host writes about his own childhood trauma, abandonment, confusion, and doubt while also sharing about the infiniteness of God.

Additionally, earlier this week it was announced that KB garnered two GMA Dove Award Nominations for “Graves (feat. Brandon Lake)” for Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year and Short Form Music Video of the Year (Performance).

Motivation For Your Week

We all have days when we feel like giving up. Maybe we're struggling with a difficult task, or maybe we're just feeling down in the dumps. But it's important to remember that these feelings are temporary, and that we can always find the motivation to keep going.

In this blog post, I will share 5 ways to stay motivated when things get tough. These tips have helped me through some tough times, and I hope they will help you too.

1.  Focus on your goals.

When you're feeling unmotivated, it's helpful to focus on your goals. What are you working towards? Why is it important to you? Keeping your goals in mind can help you stay focused and motivated even when things get tough.

2. Break down your goals into smaller steps.

If your goals seem too big or overwhelming, break them down into smaller, more manageable steps. This will make them seem less daunting and more achievable.

3. Reward yourself for your progress.

As you make progress towards your goals, be sure to reward yourself. This will help you stay motivated and on track.

4. Take breaks when you need them.

It's important to take breaks when you need them. Pushing yourself too hard can lead to burnout. So, if you're feeling overwhelmed, take a step back and relax for a bit.

5. Surround yourself with positive people.

The people you surround yourself with can have a big impact on your motivation. So, make sure to surround yourself with positive people who will support you and encourage you.

Following these tips can help you stay motivated when things get tough. Remember, it's okay to have bad days. But don't let them stop you from achieving your goals. Keep going, even when it's hard. You can do it!

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13

This verse is a powerful reminder that we can do anything with God's help. No matter what challenges we face, we can overcome them if we put our trust in God.

When we are feeling weak or discouraged, we can remember that God is our strength. He will give us the power to do what we need to do, even when it seems impossible.

So if you are facing a difficult situation today, remember that God is with you. He will give you the strength to overcome anything.

Here is a prayer you can pray:

Dear God,

Thank you for your strength. I know that I can do all things through you. Please help me to trust in you and to rely on your power. I pray that you will give me the strength to overcome any challenges that I face.

In Jesus' name, amen.

New Music: J. Johnson - Pull Up

The song Pull Up was inspired by part (a) of Psalm 34:8. O taste and see that the Lord is good. It’s His goodness that is always on display in the life of a believer. The miraculous act to not change the life of a sinful self willed human. But to change their wiring and wants or desires can only be a miracle from The Most High.

This is not a song inviting opps to pull up and getting it (war) poppin. This is a call to all who do not believe to try Jesus. To see a former sinfully driven stubborn criminal minded man that has tasted of the goodness of GOD like the finest of five star full course meals that no longer has an appetite for anything or anyone offering less.

So PULL UP!

Grace and Peace!

Mondays can be tough. You're coming off a weekend of relaxation and fun, and it's time to get back to the grind. But it doesn't have to be that way! If you start your week off right, you can set yourself up for success the rest of the week. Here are five tips to help you get motivated and start your week off on the right foot:

1. Plan your week ahead.

One of the best ways to stay motivated is to have a plan. Take some time on Sunday night or Monday morning to sit down and map out your week. What are your priorities? What tasks need to be done? Once you have a plan, you'll be less likely to feel overwhelmed or lost.

2. Set goals.

Having goals to work towards will give you something to strive for. Make sure your goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. For example, instead of saying "I want to get more work done this week," say "I want to finish writing that report by Friday."

3. Break down big tasks into smaller ones.

If you have a big task that seems daunting, break it down into smaller, more manageable tasks. This will make it seem less overwhelming and more achievable.

4. Reward yourself.

When you accomplish a task, give yourself a small reward. This will help you stay motivated and on track. The reward doesn't have to be big - it can be something as simple as taking a break, watching a funny video, or eating your favorite snack.

5. Get organized.

A cluttered workspace can be a major distraction. Take some time to declutter your desk and get organized. This will help you focus on the task at hand and avoid getting sidetracked.

Following these tips can help you start your week off right and stay motivated throughout the week. So what are you waiting for? Start planning your week today!

The Bible verse Philippians 4:13 is a powerful reminder that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. This is especially true when we are facing difficult challenges in life. When we feel weak and overwhelmed, we can turn to Christ for strength and guidance. He will help us overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

Here are some additional thoughts to consider:

  • What are some things that you are facing right now?
  • How can you rely on Christ's strength to overcome these challenges?
  • What are some ways that you can grow in your relationship with Christ?

If you are facing a difficult challenge, take some time to pray and ask God for strength. He will give you the power to overcome anything that comes your way. You can also grow in your relationship with Christ by reading the Bible, praying, and attending church. As you grow closer to Him, you will experience His love and guidance in a deeper way.

Here are some Bible verses that can encourage you in your time of need:

  • Isaiah 41:10: "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
  • Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
  • Romans 8:28: "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

Blessings,

"If you like it I love it"...

"Whatever floats your boat"...

Said when letting an individual do him/her, when you either aren’t in the mood to criticize them, or feel it's not your place to, whether or not you agree with their behavior. Why give yourself grey hairs trying to change 'em?

Thre, takes a different approach to "Like It or Love It" in regards to what he likes versus what he loves. Ultimately after listing off the things he likes and loves, and what others may like or love about him, in a relatable way, this song crescendos into how we like and how we love the things or people we do. None of these things can compare to the Love of God. "Ain't nothing like his love."

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. -ESV

The Bible is full of wisdom, and it can be a great resource for anyone looking to live a wise life. Here are a few tips from the Bible on how to find wisdom:

  • Seek wisdom from God. The Bible says that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction" (Proverbs 1:7). If you want to find wisdom, you need to start by seeking it from God.
  • Study the Bible. The Bible is full of wisdom, and the more you study it, the more wisdom you will gain. The Bible is a collection of books written over a period of 1500 years by over 40 different authors. It is divided into two parts: the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament tells the story of God's relationship with the Israelites, while the New Testament tells the story of Jesus Christ. Both the Old and New Testaments are full of wisdom that can help you live a better life.
  • Listen to wise people. Surround yourself with wise people and listen to what they have to say. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed." There are many wise people in the world, both past and present. Read the biographies of wise people, listen to their speeches, and watch their interviews. You can also learn from wise people in your own life, such as your parents, teachers, and mentors.
  • Be humble. The wisest people are the ones who are humble enough to admit that they don't know everything. Proverbs 11:2 says, "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom." Don't be afraid to admit when you're wrong. Be willing to learn from others, even from people who are younger or less experienced than you.
  • Be teachable. Be willing to learn from others and be open to new ideas. Proverbs 12:15 says, "The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice." Be open to new information and new ways of thinking. Don't be afraid to change your mind when presented with new evidence.
  • Act wisely. Once you have gained wisdom, use it to make wise decisions. Proverbs 16:9 says, "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." Use your wisdom to make decisions that are good for you and for others. Be guided by your conscience and by the principles of the Bible.

If you follow these tips, you will be well on your way to finding wisdom. Wisdom is a precious gift, and it is worth seeking after.

"Criminals In Action" is the second single off the forthcoming The Resistance LP and features lyrical extraordinaire Taelor Gray. The beat boasts a funky acoustic bass and guitar line that immediately capture the listeners attention. In true Cephas fashion the topic is serious but the song is fun & playful. As the hook resounds “Criminals in action… they’re corrupt… politics 101” it’s as if we’re being taken back in time to the 60’s listening to reggae or the 80’s listening to punk. The hook is a universal cry against the corruption we see in modern politics. Both Cephas and Taelor’s verses are packed with powerful quotables and crafty wordplay. Whether you agree with them or not politically the song is playful and catchy regardless making it a great summer vibe for the masses.

The Christian rap duo BRM and BrodieDaVinci are about to release the third and final album of their spiritual journey trilogy.

The first album “20 Seconds” focused on the urgency of coming to Christ, warning listeners they only have a short window left to accept Him.

The second album “Overtime” acknowledged God’s grace in allowing more time for people to make that decision.

Now, BRM and BrodieDaVinci’s new album “GAME OVER” brings this journey to its conclusion.

The title hints that one’s chance to choose Christ does not last forever. There will come a point where if someone has not committed to following Him, it will be too late. The opportunity will be over.

This highly anticipated finale promises to deliver the duo’s signature mix of convicting lyrics, booming beats, and worshipful melodies.

As with their previous albums, BRM and BrodieDaVinci aim not just to entertain but to save souls for eternity.

Don’t miss out on this monumental chapter in BRM and BrodieDaVinci’s discography.

Let “GAME OVER” inspire you to evaluate your own spiritual status before your window closes. Will you choose life in Christ today?
