Upping a feud with an influential black lawmaker, President Donald Trump on Sunday assailed Rep. Elijah Cummings as a “racist” over the “rodent-infested mess” in his district while White House aides sought to downplay his comments as frustration over Democrats’ unrelenting investigations.

In a series of tweets, Trump insisted that his comments Saturday referring to Cummings’ majority-black district as a disgusting mess where “no human being would want to live” were not racist. On the contrary, Trump argued, “if racist Elijah Cummings would focus more of his energy on helping the good people of his district, and Baltimore itself, perhaps progress could be made in fixing the mess that he has helped to create over many years of incompetent leadership.”

The Baltimore Sun’s editorial board published a scathing op-ed entitled ‘Better to have a few rats than to be one’ slamming the president for attacking the city and Rep. Elijah Cummings on Saturday, hours after Trump trashed the city as a ‘disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess’

The Baltimore Sun’s editorial board has published a stinging response to President Donald Trump‘s rant against the Maryland city, after he smeared it as a ‘disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess’.

Trump launched his scathing attack on the ‘dangerous and filthy’ city where ‘no human being would want to live’ on Twitter on Saturday, digging at Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings who criticized the president for conditions at the southern border.

Over the past few years, Michigan rapper NF has achieved an unprecedented degree of success in both the Christian and mainstream markets. His third (record label) LP, Perception, ended up charting at #1, going on to receive RIAA Platinum certification. Despite the album’s financial success, it was difficult to argue that most of its material was little more than a rehashing of prior albums. One of the underlying issues has been the fact that NF has released his albums in a rapid, yearly succession, offering less time for developing new content, personal growth, and fresh topics. This time around, thankfully, NF has chosen to wait nearly two years before releasing his newest album, The Search.

The most coveted rookie since LeBron James has finally inked a sneaker contract, as Zion Williamson announced he was joining Jordan Brand on Tuesday.

The Pelicans’ rookie sensation played his lone Summer League half in the same Kyrie 5s he wore at Duke, offering little in the way of information regarding his future sneaker deal. Other than that, it has been weeks of silence regarding what sneaker and apparel deal the young star would sign. While official figures are not known, a report from Adam Zagoria of Forbes on Tuesday indicates Williamson’s deal is for $75 million over seven years.

The remake roared to the top with ease.

“This is the only real shot in [The Lion King]. There are 1,490 rendered shots created by animators and CG artists. I slipped in one single shot that we actually photographed in Africa to see if anyone would notice. It is the first shot of the movie that begins The Circle of Life,” director Favreau revealed. It’s one of the more iconic shots in Disney movie history, with the “sun rolling high through the sapphire sky,” as the song goes, and it’s stunning in both films.
