Charlie Strong's former players at Louisville apparently took a glimpse at their old coach's press conference on Monday, where he was introduced as the new coach at the University of Texas. The job is by most standards a step up from Louisville: An unlimited budget, a bigger salary and an incredible recruiting base.
But for those players he left behind at Louisville, including cornerbacks Andrew Johnson and Devontre Parnell, the decision to leave seemed to be a tough one to take:
The problem seemed to be especially that Strong left without much warning. But as hard as that is for players, there seems to be little alternative.
