*Sony Pictures Television is said to be in “very early” discussions about recreating classic scenes from a number of Norman Lear sitcoms — including “The Jeffersons” and “Good Times”— and combining them into a miniseries. According to Variety, Lear and Sony are discussing casting new actors to recreate classic episodes, working from the original scripts.
