The new comedy, starring Mike Epps, Nia Long and James Lesure in an adaptation of the 1989 John Hughes film, has been canceled, according to Lesure, who announced the news on Twitter. 

“Disappointed. No more @ABCUncleBuck. Cancelled. Thankful to have worked with @ABCNetwork. Proud of what we’ve done. Thx 4 let us entertain u,” Lesure wrote.

ABC later confirmed it.

ABC’s fall primetime lineup will be more diverse its ever been.

On top of favorites like Scandal and Greys Anatomy, which both have minority leads, a new slew of diverse shows will be joining the network. Black-ish (a sitcom based on a Black suburban family), Cristela (a show about a Hispanic family), Fresh Off the Boat (a show about an Asian community), and How to Get Away with Murder (starring Viola Davis) are all bringing a much-needed array of stories/experiences to prime time.

ABC’s “Scandal” is ending its third season with a bang.

That’s from a bomb blast that was a plot twist in the Kerry Washington series and from big TV ratings. The Nielsen ratings company says last week’s episode had 10.6 million viewers, making it the most-watched episode of the series.

“Scandal” was the week’s most popular show among the young viewers ABC watches most closely for advertising sales. Among all viewers, CBS’ “NCIS” was the most-watched program.
