I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint." - Jeremiah 31:25 (NIV)
I had Sunday off. My roommate had been talking about this church where she remembered the Spirit flowing, but she couldn't go. I went instead.
The song service looked more like a concert with the lights and darkness. I had to push past that until I felt alone with God. Then I heard Him speaking to my spirit. He refreshed me and recharged me in a way that only He could.
He knew what I needed, and He took the heaviness from my heart, put the spring back in my step and placed a smile on my face.
When we are willing to get alone with God, to push everything aside, He will refresh us, restore us and make us whole.
