Sherri Shepherd is a business and entertainment force to be reckoned with. These days, she seems to be everywhere.
The 48-year-old Christian television host, comedian and author premiered her brand new cooking show, “Holy & Hungry,” Sunday, August 23 to excellent reviews.
The first of six half-hour long episodes on the Cooking Channel featured the Emmy Award-winner stopping by Hush Bistro in Farmingdale, New York.
There, the chef, Marc Anthony Bynum, doubles as a preacher of the gospel with a knack for whipping up yummy fall-off-the-bone-good ribs.
“Eating has always been like a religious experience for me. Growing up my father was a Deacon and my mother always cooked all of our meals, so we had good food on the table and faith in our hearts,” said Shepherd.
