There are special times when God's Spirit is on you and it is so easy to praise and worship Him. At other times we have to make a conscious effort. Talking to God in your own words as a young child talks to a very loving father, is one of the surest ways to get to know Him. Unfortunately a great many people have not had the experience of what it is like to have a loving father. And many fathers who do love their children, do not always feel comfortable showing their softer side. It is so important that they do, because in a small way you are introducing your child to God the Father. The child will not understand how much he is loved by the Heavenly Father if he feels unloved by his earthly father.
Talking to God as a very small child, is so powerful, because it gives you such peace and security and you start to have a real relationship with God. God responds to your childlike trust and affection for Him. How He responds I believe is very different from one child of God to another. You cannot talk to God about your love for Him and not be strongly bless by Him. Your heart expands and your knowledge of Him also expands. Your faith grows so strong that I believe it is a perfect time to pray for miracles. Intercession prayers for people in need is so important, but what is the most important thing is to love and worship God so that you have a real relationship with Him.
I believe that Christian don't often think just how powerful their prayers can be, so they pray for small things and only for people they know. I believe in praying big because I know God wants to do great things through us.
