Solange Knowles will marry longtime boyfriend Alan Ferguson in New Orleans this Sunday

Solange Knowles is set to marry her longtime video director boyfriend Alan Ferguson on Sunday.

The 28-year-old DJ, who has managed to keep her relationship and engagement rather private – will be tying the knot in New Orleans, in the home she shares with Alan and her 10-year-old son Julez.

UsWeekly reports the younger sister of Beyonce will marry her beau in front of friends and family after a weekend of celebrations, starting with a movie night on Friday.

On Saturday friends and family will get together for a rehearsal dinner before a ceremony on Sunday will make it official.

Alan, 51, has been close to the Knowles family for many years and presented a gong at the 2012 BET Awards alongside Beyonce – who he also directed a music video for.

The low-key couple have been photographed at various events together and also shared snaps of a romantic trip to Jamaica in June for Solange’s 28th birthday.
