Have you ever come across someone who was jealous of you or didn’t celebrate the good in your life?  Recently, I was teaching my daughter there will be people in life that are jealous and envious but you must take the high road (tough to do but the right thing to do).  It’s sad that so many people take pleasure in watching others fall or make mistakes because it makes them feel good about their own situation or life.  That’s one of the reasons we have so many reality television programs today.

While flipping thru the TV yesterday I came across a show where a guy turned to a lady and said, “Don’t Hate – Celebrate”.  That got me think even more about this topic.  According to the Urban Dictionary, a “hater” can be defined as:  A person who feels anger and/or jealousy for someone who has succeeded in something they have worked hard for. Or a person being that speaks badly, and/or takes negative actions in attempt to create problems for a successful person.  Clearly, being a “hater” is not a good thing.  And how we handle other people’s success, especially when things may not be going so well for us, is an indicator of our maturity and belief in ourselves.

So what do you do when you see someone flourishing with the opportunities, recognition, clients and wins that you want for your life or business?  You learn to celebrate other people’s success.  Today, I want to remind you that if you master generating genuine happiness for other people, not only will you find a cure for the envy, but there are a few benefits to you as well.  As you learn to celebrate others here are two things for sure you can expect:
