“J Torah is a walking testimony. J Torah is a father, a husband, and a God-fearing man.”

J Torah fell in love with music from a young age. His favorite artists as a kid were James Brown and Michael Jackson. “My dad used to have this recorder that had a microphone, and everything hooked up to it. You would put the record on, and I would actually get on the microphone and sing those songs.”

The inspiration for Pt.2 came about as Cephas was serving as an evangelist for a local Church.  He was in a board meeting discussion about how to reach the community with the Gospel and the lead pastor decided that evangelism was worthless because "it didn't equal butt's in seats on Sunday mornings" and cut funding to their outreaches.  That was enough for Cephas to pull his support for the Church…

J. Crum just released his introspective single, WE GON MAKE IT.  This song was produced by the talented Tory Hooks. J. Crum sings encouragement to the listener in efforts to let them know that they aren't alone in their struggles.

WE GON MAKE IT is the seventh song released from Crum's Vigilantes Vol. 1 series. Look for new music from J. Crum every 2 weeks this Summer/Fall.

Historically, in the music business, the fourth quarter is reserved for the power players and hard hitters. Alas, after a steady flow of releases throughout the year, the man known as Derek Jordan has one last clip to let off before he drops his Illect debut.

Unpredictable is out now on Illect Recordings.

Tunnel Rats is the third studio album by West Coast underground Christian hip hop collective Tunnel Rats, released on March 3, 2004, through Uprok Records. Featuring several new members among the group's ranks, the album was well received by critics, with Christianity Today and Rapzilla considering it the best album so far by the group.

Quality rap music made by followers of Jesus didn’t start with Lecrae’s Anomaly performances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In fact, it’s been recorded and widely-distributed since the mid-’80s and has a rich history of positive influence on the lives of listeners who love the hip-hop culture

What I'm Listening To Now: Eshon Burgundy - 'For the Love of Money'...

..FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL...”

...but it is also Eshon Burgundy's latest and arguably, best album to date. Arriving more than three years after his last full length project, in 'For the Love of Money' longtime fans will find an Eshon filled with conviction and passion in an experience reminiscent of what they found in their favorites from the Philadelphia, PA emcee. Newcomers will find a master craftsman who weaves in and out of each song with skill, conviction and creativity. With sonic landscapes from NFTRY Members Rising Son and J. Rhodan, as well as DaBoomSquad, Carnegie and Tommy Black, 'For the Love of Money' presents the freshness of Blood Rushing to My Head, the grit of For God's Sake, the polish of The Fear of God and the creative courage found on The Passover; vintage, and yet it feels like the beginning of something new for Eshon Burgundy and the NFTRY.

Wondering what's in store for the Microsoft Surface event on Wednesday? Evan Blass has posted renderings of several devices, including a Surface Pro 7 that brings a USB-C connector instead of Mini DisplayPort, and 10th-gen Intel Core CPUs inside. He also pointed out an ARM CPU-powered Surface that's thinner than the usual Pro lineup with some seriously skinny bezels and probably aimed directly at Apple's iPad Pro.
