We got into this because we love hip hop and we love Jesus. Long before awards, plaques, chart positions, and radio play, a few guys from Texas started using music to express their newfound faith. The early songs captured their everyday experiences in the street, volunteering in detention centers, or just having fun with friends. This hobby grew into the beginnings of Reach Records.

The label started with no strategy, no funds, no big players making big moves. It was just passion, faith and a desire to help others change the way they see the world.

Romans 1:16 has always captured the essence of our beliefs: “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation”. It’s the heartbeat of who we are and for 15 years we’ve been on a journey to discover how to live that out in music and in culture.

The ways artists, music lovers, and faith communities digest culture continues to change. Social media feeds, and streaming platforms are giving us all new ways of interacting and making sense of world around us. As we move ahead, we’re excited to sign artists that have their own story to tell.
