It is a wife's worst nightmare to be cheated on by the man she has committed her life to. While the dreaded infidelity issue pops up in lots of marriages, few know how to release hurt and repair the relationship--if that is their desire.
But Mary Mary's Tina Atkins-Campbell, 39, who opened up about her husband Teddy Campbell's affair in the May issue of Ebony, recently got transparent on Twitter about what helped her forgive her unfaithful spouse.
According to the WE tv reality star, it was the prayers of supporters, friends and family that carried her through.
In a Saturday, Dec. 28 tweet from the duo's official page, she wrote, "THANX to every1 who prayed 4 me & my family this yr. I am your example that the prayers of the righteous accomplish much."
At the time of the February revelation of the incident that sparked the Campbell's marriage crisis, more than 2 years had passed since Mr. Campbell stepped out.
The Late Night With Jay Leno drummer, however, decided to out himself to his wife before the devastating news of his sexual relations with a longtime family friend leaked another way--on the Internet or through the grapevine.
