Most would agree that passion is the heartbeat of life.  Could Lamar Odom’s life be saved if he just followed his passion of basketball again?

Well, Master P. definitely thinks so.  Not only that but former teammate Kobe Bryant could’ve helped Lamar returned to his passion.  In fact, Kobe, along with the rest of Lamar’s family, could’ve saved Lamar’s life.  That is, if Kobe was a “real friend.”

Lamar’s unfortunate series of turmoil consisting of drug abuse, depression and divorce, came to a frightening climax last Tuesday when he was found unresponsive at a brothel in Crystal, Nevada.  He is in critical condition and currently on life support and dialysis due to failing kidneys from suspected drug and alcohol overdose.

During these extremely tough times, P. explains that Lamar’s biggest problem is the lack of love and the absence of his friends and family. “Where are the people at that he showed love to?” P. asks rhetorically. “Because he had a big heart. It’s phony, man.”

P. believes that Kobe, in particular, is not a real friend to Lamar, and that Kobe’s visit to the hospital was nothing more than a publicity stunt.

“All this man wanted to do was play basketball,” Master P. says to the TMZ reporter. “Kobe, like, owns the team [LA Lakers]. He could’ve got the man back on the team.”
