Rap Fest 2011 is a free Hip-Hop festival that will enrapture your soul.

 

, July 19, 2011: - For 18 years, Rap Fest has gathered rappers and DJs for an inspirational free concert. Family friendly, this event will take place on August 13th from 12 pm to 8 pm in the birthplace of Hip-Hop, the South Bronx. This year’s location is the New Horizons Shopping Center, aka the Pathmark Mall, at 961 E. 174th Street. Attendees can fellowship with the artists, get free giveaways, purchase independent music/clothing and watch break-dancers battle.

 

Presented by Rap Fest Inc, Sanctuary Fellowship and Calvary Church, Rap Fest uses the elements of Hip-Hop such as dance, fashion, art, etc‚ as evangelistic tools. This year’s performers are: 3D Remedy (Staten Island), Azriel (Missouri), Believin Stephen (Philadelphia), Blaze Torch (Bronx), Demo Real (Maryland), Disciple (D.I) (Boston), Freestyle Fam (Staten Island), Giano (Virginia), Heesun Lee (Staten Island), Hope Boy (Virginia), Malakai the Truth (Brooklyn), Man Praisin Hard (Atlanta), muzeONE (Philadelphia), Nfluential Music Ministries (Virginia), Nu Hope (New Jersey), Prodigal Son (Florida), Red Baron (Georgia), Rkitect (Florida), SeDa (Brooklyn), S.I.K.C. (New Jersey), DJ Press Play, DJ Wade O, DJ Bryant Smith and DJ NU Man.

 

Rap Fest is sponsored by: Holy Culture.net, Grateful Apparel, T38 Creations, Triple J Audio, "Mid-Bronx Desperadoes" Community Housing Corp, The Sanctuary Fellowship, Calvary Church and Rap Fest’s internet video show, Rap Fest Radio. Rap Fest Radio conducts live interviews every Monday night at 8 pm and will broadcast a live stream of the festival. Calvary Church will also host a Nite B4 Rap Fest event at 1010 E. 174th Street at 7:00 PM, which is open to the public.
