We find excuses, we distract ourselves, we tell ourselves we'll do it later. But later never comes, and we end up feeling stressed and guilty.

So, how can we overcome this bad habit and get things done? Here are some suggestions:

- Break down your task into smaller, manageable steps. Sometimes, we procrastinate because the task seems too overwhelming or complex. By dividing it into smaller chunks, we can make it more achievable and less intimidating.

- Set a deadline and stick to it. Having a clear deadline can help us focus and prioritize our work. It can also create a sense of urgency and motivation. Try to be realistic and avoid setting deadlines that are too tight or too loose.

- Reward yourself for completing each step. Give yourself a treat or a break after finishing a part of your task. This can help you stay motivated and positive. You can also use rewards as incentives to start working on the next step.

- Eliminate distractions and temptations. Turn off your phone, close your browser tabs, put away anything that might distract you from your work. Make sure you have a quiet and comfortable workspace where you can concentrate and be productive.

- Ask for help or support if you need it. Sometimes, we procrastinate because we don't know how to do something or we feel insecure about our abilities. Don't be afraid to ask for help from someone who knows more than you or who can give you feedback or encouragement. You can also work with a friend or a colleague who has a similar goal and keep each other accountable.
