You don’t need to look at serious names all the time. Facebook Messenger makes it easy to set nicknames to your contacts.

1. Open the Facebook Messenger app.
2. Select a conversation.
3. Hit the i icon on the top-right corner of the conversation.
4. Select Nicknames.
5. Select the contact you want to give a nickname to.
6. Type the nickname.
7. Select Set.
