The latest Spidey installment, directed by Marc Webb (how fitting), features a geeky Andrew Garfield, a blonde Emma Stone and a slew of special effects.
The trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man has landed online following a preview in theaters Monday night.
The Sony Pictures would-be blockbuster, slated for release July 3 in 3D, stars Andrew Garfield as closet superhero Peter Parker, Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy and Denis Leary as her father, who also happens to be a police lieutenant on the hunt for the "vigilante" Spider-man.
Also co-starring: Sally Field, Martin Sheen and Rhys Ifans as the villain Lizard. Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) directs, and from we've seen from the trailer, the result is a lot of high-action special effects and some real chemistry between Garfield and Stone, who sparked a romantic relationship off camera.
