If you purchase something you pay for it and then from then on you own it and after you own it, you can do with it as you please. If something you've bought is neglected or mistreated, It's your responsibility because you're the owner. In referring to Jesus Colossians 1:16, says
for [a]by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.
Because he paid the price in shedding his own blood to make the purchase. It's all for him. It's all about him. Everything is owned by him, including you and me. And the good news.
Christ will never neglect or mistreat what he's purchased.
The value is too high. High enough that the blood of the son of god had to be spilled in order to make the transaction.
All of christ's righteousness was placed on us and all of our sin was placed on him. The day the payment was made on the cross, sin was destroyed, death was crushed and the owner of all things counts us as infinitely valuable.
