The God’s Not Dead film series is igniting its most fiery drama yet.

God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness (in theaters March 30), the third movie in the popular faith-based franchise, premieres its trailer exclusively on USATODAY.com and centers on the turmoil caused by the deadly blaze of a university church.

Pastor Dave (David A.R. White) watches in horror as his place of worship, St. James Church, burns to the ground. But when Hadleigh University won’t let it be rebuilt on campus, sighting its controversial nature and wanting to force Pastor Dave off campus, he teams with his estranged brother Pearce (John Corbett), an atheist lawyer, to fight back in court.

The film also stars God’s Not Dead regulars Shane Harper and Benjamin Onyango as well as Ted McGinley, Jennifer Taylor, Tatum O’Neal, rapper Shwayze and Grammy-winning gospel singer Cissy Houston.

White and Harper are doing a Facebook Live for fans of the movie series at 7 ET/4 PT at the God’s Not Dead Facebook page.
