NOLA- Schaquana Evita Spears, a Baton Rouge 30-year-old single parent of 6, was arrested for spanking her three sons because she had the tenacity to hold them accountable for their actions. Spears, abruptly left work after learning her sons-ages 10, 12, and 13 – had burglarized the neighbors home and stolen a hover board and some electronics. Spears, who gave them a good ole’ fashion spanking, was booked on child cruelty counts but has since bonded out of jail. In my opinion, she should be applauded

According to reports, Spears was repeatedly striking the boys with an RCA cord, typically used to run audioand video from one electronic device to another. The problem, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, is she went too far. The 13-year-old had lacerations, with some bleeding, on both arms and red welt marks pretty much everywhere from the shoulders down. The two other boys, per the arrest report, also had minor wounds.
One local attorney said he would represent her free of charge.
