Giants-top-Cowboys-for-NFC-East-title-RFPNHJB-x-front-standard.jpg

The New York Giants, plagued by maddening inconsistency after they fashioned a 6-2 midseason record, got it together when they absolutely had to.

The Giants erupted for 21 first-half points and their ferocious defensive front took care of the rest in a rousing 31-14 victory against the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday night's all-or-nothing clash for the NFC East title.
Newly-crowned New York (9-7), after sweeping the season series from Dallas with its second triumph against its division rival in three weeks, secured a home game in the wild-card round of the playoffs next Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons at 1 p.m. ET.
"We're hitting our stride at the right time," said Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz. "We're going into the playoffs right where we want to be."
Added running back Brandon Jacobs, "There are not enough good things I can say about this team. We've got a tough one next week against Atlanta, and we'll see if we can carry it over.
"This team has what it takes to go out and get it done."
New York sure seems to have the quarterback.
Eli Manning was ridiculed during the preseason for saying he thought he should be considered among the game's premier passers. No one is snickering anymore.
He completed 24 of 33 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns. He was not picked off. He closed the regular season with a franchise-record 4,933 passing yards, obliterating the previous mark of 4,074 set by Kerry Collins in 2002.
He also led the Giants to a franchise-record six victories in which they either trailed or were tied in the fourth quarter. That was punctuated by a two-touchdown rally in the final 3:14 in a wild 37-34 victory at Cowboys Stadium on Dec. 11.

One more: Refuse to cast out a demon

Modern day society has accepted these things as the norm. Yet, most of them would be abhorrent to our Holy God. It doesn’t matter if another person is doing these things. That is between them and the Lord. Each of us needs to monitor our own actions, and act as if we are standing before His Throne in every moment. In truth, we are. He Lives within us. Every thought, word and deed must be accounted for.

Many today, are expecting great signs and wonders, miracles and revival to break out. Jesus Isn’t cheap. He Gave 100% of Himself for us. We cannot think that a few songs sung in worship, or visiting a church upon occasion is enough. We cannot, through blinded eyes, think that He Doesn’t See our sins. That sin will block our blessings, and block us from experiencing His Presence and His Glory.

We each need to do a healthy self-assessment. Jesus Was and Is, the Epitome of Self-Control. He Is our Divine Example. This is not optional – it is required.

As a society, we’ve learned behaviors at rock concerts that are entirely unsuitable in churches. Remember How Jesus Turned the tables when His Father’s House of Prayer was defiled by the moneychangers? It’s happening again, all around us. Today, we see goods and services are being sold from the pulpit and amongst the congregants. God’s House Is Holy. He Gave us His Only Son, and He Expects us to give due reverence and respect. We need to restore the Holiness of His Sanctuaries! We need to prepare our hearts to meet the King of All Kings! We need to dress….as if He Was Going to Show up at any moment. We need to humble ourselves, as if Judgment Day was today. We need to respect others as His Creation, that He Loves, too. We need to pay our tithes without question or coercion. We need to walk the walk….just like Jesus Did, and still Does today. We serve a HOLY GOD!

There are many today, who believe that “God Knows I’m human, He’ll Forgive me!” That is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, that Jesus Hated. It takes Grace for granted. Let’s not forget that this IS the God, Who Keeps 7 billion of us alive, and all the planets and stars in mathematical precision. There is no shadow of turning with Him. There is no darkness in Him. He IS Sinless, Pure and Holy. He, Is not to be taken for granted.

Let’s all get on board with God’s Plan as Written in His Word. Then – see what will happen. Meanwhile, put your desires on the back burner. Let’s get real before Him, while we still have a chance to correct what’s not right.

Churchgoers Down on Obama

barack-obama-400x295.jpg

A new national telephone survey shows that opinions about President Obama are sharply divided along lines of faith and church attendance, according to Rasmussen Reports.

Among people who rarely or never attend church, Obama has a job-approval rating of 58 percent, but among those who attend services every week or nearly every week, he has just 38 percent approval. Among those who attend more than one service a week, his approval is even lower at 31 percent.

TCFM Media along with Chris One Mic Direct Spoken’s new video “Bring It All”. Off of the Bright Days Dark Nights album “Bring It All” is a bold proclamation, boasting a Christ-centred confidence regardless of what life throws at one. Bring the pain, bring the joy, bring the storm, and bring it all. This confidence is rooted in an understanding that God “…work all things (good and bad) together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

On January 9th 2012. Tri-state based MC/songwriter/producer CONQUEST a.k.a. JAY RENEGADE will release the SINGLE/EP ‘R.A.G.E. (Revenge Against God’s Enemies)” off his forthcoming 2012 album “RADICAL DEPARTURE”. This EP will contain multiple versions of the “R.A.G.E.” single as well as additional songs/potential singles off the new 2012 album. This new single is an East Coast radio friendly street record with classic rock/metal edge that lives up ‘QUEST’S reputation for profound & inventive lyricism, often addressing provocative subject matter with intricate wordplay. “R.A.G.E.” was produced by D. STEELE ( http://soundcloud.com/dsteelemusic ) & mixed and mastered by KEITH ‘VULTCHA’ THOMAS http://twitter.com/VULTCHAtheMC.

“R.A.G.E.” marks a new musical chapter and re-invention for CONQUEST as an artist and urban evangelist. After dropping 4 studio albums and 4 mixtapes between 2003 & 2011, a fact documented in it’s availabity for download at http://conquest.bandcamp.com. The EP and 2012 album are projects that find CONQUEST producing unadulterated hip hop music with an alternative rock & soul influence that will be recognized as either ‘Christian hip-hop’ or hip hop created by a Christian without separation or any form of fear or apprehension. the “R.A.G.E.” single itself not only examines/promotes the sentiments of the ROMANS 12:19 scripture verse, but it also addresses ‘QUEST’s testimony of escape from being sexually molested/abused by a male pastor & how it affected his spiritual life, as well as his reflections on the acts of terrorism that went down in COLUMBINE & VIRGINIA TECH school shootings. Those and other instances fuel the theme of the song where the idea of ‘REVENGE’ is re-interpreted for GOD’S glory.

Look for the Trinidadian born Conquest a.k.a. Jay Renegade (whose musical influences include artists as diverse as Eminem, Mastodon, Lupe Fiasco, Underoath, Fiona Apple, Marvin Gaye, Hillsong United, Jay-Z & The Devil Wears Prada) to bring you an original, unorthodox but still commercially viable style of music and ministry in 2012 and beyond. Expect CONQUEST to not only continue making great music with a vivid and outspoken message of salvation through JESUS CHRIST but also speak on the social, political and pop culture influences that affect everyone throughout the world from a disciple’s perspective & worldview.

120611-national-black-women-sexual-abuse.jpg

Sixty percent of Black women in an ongoing study reported they had been sexually assaulted by a Black man before they turned 18, according researchers at Black Women's Blueprint.

Nationally, more than 300 women were surveyed in the study, and the organization hopes to survey a total of 700 women by March 2012. The group will announce its full findings at that time.

According to Farah Tanis, co-Founder of the New York-based organization and co-author of the study, domestic and sexual abuse in the Black community often goes ignored, and the problem is only getting worse.

"A similar study that was conducted by Black Women's Health Imperative seven years ago found that that number was about 40 percent," Tanis told NewsOne. "So that means there is an increase and we need to stop neglecting that issue."
