I (Chanelle) experienced my happiness epiphany during my first trip back to New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. When I returned home and was able to witness the devastation with my own eyes, it was beyond heartbreaking. I felt a deeper sense of loss and pain when I arrived at what was left of our family home. It was there where I kept all of the awards associated with the success of Trin-i-tee 5:7 over the years. As I stood in the space that used to be the family room, I saw each and every plaque, certificate and award turned upside down, buried in mud, broken or damaged beyond repair. Simply ruined. That image really brought everything home to me.
