Have you ever seen a DJ preach through music? Let me introduce you to a passionate, focused and seasoned DJ that has an impeccable talent that reaches the STREETS and CHURCHES alike. DJ Sean Blu has been making noise since he was “knee high” – from plowing through his father’s record collection to drumming beats - he’s had a fever for music! Mixing the flavor of DJ Chuck Chill Out, Marley Mal and the Control Show, Kiss FM, and DJ Red Alert, he has concocted an unforgettable signature that imparts JESUS to the toughest heart and teases the most acute thought. Having the conception as a dj start as a board operator at a local AM radio station in Georgia, Blu has grown his industry-relationship to work with many major tour artists with the likes of Mary Mary, Trinity 5:7 and Canton Jones. “As a DJ you deliver so I do my research on an Artist before I work with them. I have to make sure they line up with what I’m called to do”, says Blu. Talk about passionate! He constantly stresses the importance of knowing your mission and sticking to the script that God has given! Is he a DJ or a preacher – or a DJ that preaches through music? His Street Hymns Mixtapes have reached thousands, and the fan base is growing by record margins! With Real Life Music, DJ Sean Blu has given each listener a method he/she can understand, but not compromising the message of Jesus Christ! With artists that have reputations in the drug game, prostitution, or other ridiculing areas – he scratches and blends their testimonies of God’s salvation, restoration, and gift for living over beats. He says, “When you have a project that can be real and unashamed so it can really bless someone then you got something”. At the end of the day that’s the main purpose of all the labors in God’s Kingdom. Blu has worked with a plethora of artists in his 10-year career. From Rob Hodge, Japhia Life, Mr. Dell, Shei Atkins, Canton Jones, Vizunari, Tru Life, Claude Deuce, Mahogany Jones, Dre Marshall, Young Ray, T-Haddy, Sean Slaughter, Damon Lamar – the list goes on! His most memorable project happened in 2003. He faced Christian labels not wanting to relinquish music, so he teamed up with Knine and Damon Lamar to create his 7th Mixtape: Heavy Weights. In 2004, he recreated the Juice Crew called Kings of the East with Rob Hoge, Jafire Life, TKSOG. He has recently released Before Self Destruction Mixtape, and on July 14th, a compilation album will be released thru Arrow Records (affiliate of Creflo Dollar Ministries) entitled Its’ Official: Hip Hop Remixed. Keeping love for God blazing, DJ Sean Blu wants everyone to follow God and re-emphasizing that any dream can be obtained - you just have to work hard. The best covering is a God center church – get in one and get to work! This hit making DJ has many to thank with a special “Thank You” to his wife Denise, daughters Sarah and Victoria “Tori”, Pastor Claude and Regina Harris and New Life Family, brothers Rich and Canton, Derrick Woods, and Kevin Smith. Everyone else he forgot to mention sign your name: _________________.
