Technology has affect every field including education. There are many tools which can enhance the educational experience. Beyond notebooks and pens, today’s students need current technology to help them success in the classroom and beyond.

1. Smartphone a mobile phone which combines the functions of a personal digital assistant (PDA) and a mobile phone. They are equipped with more advanced computing ability and connectivity features. There are number of different companies offerring smartphones with different number of apps.
They can be used for research, recording lectures, checking grades, communicating with classmates and instructors, photographing lecture slides, and taking notes. Other uses includes students can text each other, play games and listen to music.
2. Tablet is a tablet-sized computer that has all the features of a personal computer. Its a small laptop computer, equipped with a rotatable touchscreen and running a PC operating system like Windows or Linux.
Students can use the tablet for taking notes, viewing information on the Internet, read e-books, which are becoming more and more common in higher education, etc.
3. Smartpen is a pen like device which tracks the movement of the pen, and is equipped with a microphone to record audio, a speaker for playback, a small OLED display, and an internal flash memory that captures wriiten text, audio and drwaings.
Students can use these audios for later review. They can easy carry this device with them.
4. Headphones are pair of small loudspeakers connected to a signal course like radio, CD player or and portable media player. High quality headphones blocks the unwanted noise. Students can use them in library as they keep surrounding noise outside. Some students study better with music.
