hcsp.jpgJackée Harry, the woman who became a household name as the sassy neighbor on "227," is back on TV in the church-themed film "Brother White," currently airing on GMC.
Jackee Harry of the movie "Brother White" speaks during the GMC portion of the 2012 Television Critics Association Press Tour at The Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa on Jan. 13, 2012 in Pasadena, Calif.

The actress plays Veena Johnson, the first lady of a black, inner-city church in Atlanta on the verge of foreclosure - that is until an associate pastor at a Los Angeles megachurch, James White (David A.R. White), moves to the ATL with his reluctant wife and family to become the church's new pastor.
Let's just say Veena is not happy with the new arrangement.
"He's white," Jackée tells EURweb. "It's like he comes into our church - we got a black church - and they said, 'Oh, the pastor's coming,' and I'm, like, 'Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.' And then he brings him in. And I go...'Really?'"
