A new picture of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S3 in a white colour scheme has surfaced via a public relations company which has got us all very intrigued, Weber Shandwick have added their logo to a new photograph of the Galaxy SIII in white which is possibly the closest design we’ve seen to what should be the upgrade to the Galaxy S2.
Looking extremely thin as we would expect from the next Galaxy phone this S3 picture shows an enormous touch screen dominating the front of the phone and interestingly dual speakers with a grill located in the bottom of the housing for what we hope will be stereo surround sound, of course this is where we would usually expect the microphone to be situated so if Samsung have hidden both this and a speaker behind the grill it could point towards some form of noise cancellation with an auto-mute function for voice calls.

Similar to the Samsung Galaxy S2 the S3 has a home button beneath the main screen and probably touch sensitive buttons either side for navigation, the volume rocker looks to have moved down the left side of the phone to a more central position and the picture shows what looks to be a dedicated camera button on the right side which was not featured in the previous model.
With so many of the new flagship phones concentrating on how long it takes to get from sleep to snapping a picture like the new HTC One X and Sony Xperia S it would make sense for Samsung to join this race, also noticeable is the front facing camera for video calls which is currently 2 mega pixels on the Galaxy S2 andGalaxy Note, whether Samsung decide to improve on this is not reported.
In our opinion, this is a great looking phone even if it does take a small design step away from the previousGalaxy S models, we have to say that it does look to have a certain amount of ‘HTC’ about it with that surrounding curved edge but that’s not a bad thing as the manufacturer is respected for their robust devices.
Another quick point to make is about the actual display, look closely and you’ll see that it states the date: May 22nd and mentions a Live broadcast unpacked event, if this is the official Samsung Galaxy S3 release date we’ve still got a bit of a wait on our hands, however if this is the ‘real deal’ then it looks like it will be well worth waiting for!
