King Dame originally started writing secular music in his late teens. However; it didn’t seem to have any directions. By 19, & now a born again believer he began writing covers to secular music with a Christian message.
What started as a hobby had developed as a pure passion. A few years later, King Dame walked away from music & God entirely due to a failed relationship.
About 4 years later, something changed. Fed up with his lifestyle of womanizing, partying, drinking & smoking, Dame took a step back to look at himself.
He realized he ran from God because of embarrassment & feelings of abandonment. It was in that moment he confronted his fears & picked up a Bible again.
He found himself writing songs for The Lord with a brand new insight. Now, he’s all in…with no turning back. King Dame is here to stay. He has branded God’s Platform to use rap music to communicate the Gospel.
