The Detroit Lions are vying for running back Reggie Bush's services and hope to nudge the Arizona Cardinals out of the way.

Bush will visit the Lions on Wednesday, according to a person informed of the meeting. The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on condition of anonymity because neither the team nor Bush's representatives has confirmed the visit publicly.
Bush is a warm-weather guy, having grown up in California. He then played for the New Orleans Saints and Miami Dolphins. The Cardinals would allow him to live in a warmer locale. But the Lions play under a roof, of course, and could provide a better opportunity for Bush to get touches in their offense.
