Discipline in Business Pt 1
“Unto the woman He said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” (Genesis 316, KJV).
“He told the Woman:
“I’ll multiply your pains in childbirth;
you’ll give birth to your babies in pain.
You’ll want to please your husband,
but he’ll lord it over you.” (The Message).
I feel so sorry for the new girl—Adam’s wife—Eve, because it almost looks like she got the worse part of the discipline. You know that saying where they say, “The snowball rolled down the hill” or something like that? It seems like she got the harsher judgment then even the Serpent (which we already covered in the blog post Firing Employees And Destroying Competition). The Serpent’s judgment doesn’t even come until the Christ dies on the Cross and is not even fully manifested until after he comes up out of his 1,000 year prison in the bottomless pit to go into the Lake of Fire. Man, God has had plenty of mercy and grace for Satan.
But the new girl (in the form of all women who will have children) will have to deal with the pain of pregnancy for as long as we are in these fleshly bodies. How is that even fair? Even Adam (in the form of all men, which we will talk about in part 2 of this message) only has to work a little harder to live! Man that’s just rough!
The thing about this is that it is necessary to have disciplinary actions for negative behavior in your business. Remember, since your business is still under the Government (Kingdom) of God it is still part of the Body of Christ—the Church of God. And that means that your business and the people involved are still subject to what? Everybody say it will me, “Church discipline!” Yes indeed! Church discipline.
What was the consequences of woman’s actions?
